Dona pheromone perfume gel - perfume discontinued by System JO - review by Badass

Dona's roll on perfume gel comes to you in a simple tied plastic bag. The look of the bottle to the eye is fairly simple. The bottle itself is a thick glass and has a red and black sticker that wraps around. The bottle comes with a black plastic lid that screws on and keeps the roll on applicator nice and clean. This bottle is small and can easily fit inside any purse or overnight bag. The bottle has the ingredients list(listed on Eden product page) and a few lines of "this will make you irresistible to men" nonsense.

Aside from this products size, the roll on applicator is a nice touch. You will never have to worry about it leaking all over the place or spilling all over everything in your purse, partially because it is a roll on and also because it is a gel. Inside the bottle, from looking through the clear glass of the bottom you will notice the gel inside is not clear, but instead a milky white. When shaking the bottle, the contents do not even seem to be disturbed. Since it is a gel, when you roll it on you will notice it is quite thick, but oddly enough does not have a whiteness to it. After rubbing it in, it practically disappears visually.

Easy to use roll on Applicator:


From simply opening the lid you can get a whiff of the products smell and when applied it is easily and clearly smelled on skin. The smell of Mangosteen is quite unique and actually not even distinctly feminine. The smell in my opinion is almost a fruity musk, and if my boyfriend wanted to, it would be a smell I would enjoy on him. This product is said to contain pheromones, but sadly I didn't feel as though men we any more attracted to me than without.

For best results with this or any other fragrance apply to wrists, cleavage, and behind the earlobes. Doing so uses your body's natural heat to make the smell more pungent and noticeable. Applying to the crease opposing your elbow is also a wise choice, but not a good idea for those out there who easily get body acne. This or any other roll on gel or oil can clog pores.

When I ordered Dona's roll on perfume gel, I had already had and burned a mangosteen candle and I loved the scent of it. Personally, I loved the smell of the candle as just that, a candle. In the end, I showed it to my Mum and she LOVED it, so I handed it down to her. It was just too bland for me.

I mentioned in my review that since I didn't like it so much, I had passed it on to my Mum. Well it turns out she really likes it. She wears it regularly and thinks it smells delightful. I still think it smells too much like the candle to be sexy. My Mum apparently doesn't mind in the least smelling like a candle.

I'm glad that some on got some use out of it and that the gel didn't go to waste. I guess I would most recommend this to the older crowd.
