Kissaholic aphrodisiac infused plumping lip gloss - sensual bath discontinued by Booty Parlor - review by Kate

I added this to my wishlist when I ran out of my usual go to lip plumping gloss and figured I'd try something new. The color that I was assigned is called Tremble and it's a very sheer sparkling Pink that could be worn alone or over lipstick. I didn't seem to notice much plumping action but it ended up being a great gloss!

Kissaholic's lip gloss is a thicker lip gloss than some however it still isn't sticky or tacky and doesn't get that way at any point while wearing it. That's probably what impressed me the most. I didn't find that I had to reapply very often and when it does wear out over the course of the day, it just thins out rather than completely drying out your lips. It stayed in place and didn't drip off of my lips at all!

I loved the frosted peppermint smell that this lip gloss has. I don't know how strong the other scents are because I was only assigned Tremble but it has a very strong smell to it. The taste isn't bad, a little bit waxy and you can taste peppermint and a little bit of cinnamon but the taste is definitely not as strong as the smell!

Like I mentioned earlier, the performance of this lip gloss is what sold it for me. Did it plump my lips up? No. Did it perform awesomely? Yes! It stayed put for a few hours before I felt that it had thinned out enough that I needed to reapply it. When I did reapply it I didn't need much and it stayed slick and not sticky which is a big plus for me because a sticky and tacky lip gloss never feels nice.

The packaging for this is pretty standard and basic but pretty. Kissaholic's lip gloss comes packaged in a box but upon opening the box I found that the tube of lip gloss wasn't as big as the box it was held in. I've included a picture to show you what I mean. A cardboard insert was at the bottom of the box to hold the tube up higher when it was in it's packaging so I didn't realize it was a smaller tube until I removed it from the box. Still a decent average sized lip gloss, I just wanted to point it out and include a picture of both the lip gloss and the packaging.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this lip gloss. Some plumping glosses cool, some warm and others just sting! This gloss really feels cool when you put it on but that's where the sensations stop. It doesn't tingle and it doesn't warm or sting, it just gives you a strong and cool feeling that lasts for the first 15 minutes and goes unnoticed after that. I still wouldn't recommend using it if your lips were really dry or chapped because the peppermint is strong enough that it would most likely sting! The ingredients in this lip gloss are listed as:
