Puddin' Cup(Chocolate Sundae)

If you are looking for a low priced good quality hand lotion with a lovely scent. this may be for you. packed with Shea Butter, this body butter will leave your hands, or any body part, feeling very soft to the touch. Better for hands, this product does also work for an aroma filled back massage. It does have a slight after taste, but not one that is unbearable and unexpected with an edible lotion.

Use

Doc Johnson's body butter is a great and tasty say to help soften your skin. The rich buttery textured cream can be used in a couple different ways. You can use it as a nice tasty hand cream to help soften those dry hands, or apply in for a scented and tasty sensual back rub between your partner and yourself. Rub in to your lovers back in a nice relaxing back rub and then taste the chocolaty cream as you run your lips up their now soft back to their neck.

Being just a simple lotion, this product can be use by anyone, no matter the gender. As long as you love soft skin with a lovely edible taste and aroma, you will love to participate with this product. Being a nice price and good quality, you won't need any special occasion to pull this out of the drawer.

The product is water based with Shea butter. No high end allergies stand out, but do review the ingredients just to be sure. I myself have sensitive skin and have no problem with this product.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The body butter does have a thick texture, almost like a thick chocolate pudding cup. The picture makes it seem like it will be like chocolate syrup, but it is not. This is very nice because it allows it to not run all over your body unless you yourself push and rub it that way. When you open it and lightly shake it around, it does stay in one large clump, but as soon as you dip your finders in the butter squishes around your fingers for you to apply where you please.

While applying on the skin, it does feel a bit like thick pudding without the sticky feeling pudding would normally leave. You can easily tell it have Shea Butter in it because of the feel it leaves your skin. It can easily be mistaken as an oily feeling, but after fully absorbing in to the skin you will notice it's just the soft velvety feeling, not oily.

It is very easy to apply with out making a mess and spreads across your skin like soft butter on toast and absorbs very nicely in the skin. It does not leave my skin feeling sticky.

Taste / Aroma

When you open this body butter, you can already smell the mild sweet chocolate aroma. This as well resembles chocolate pudding only with a little extra of a chocolate scent. As you are rubbing in to the skin, you can still smell it. The scent is in no way over powering but not too mild where you can't smell it at all.

On top of the lovely scent, it does have a soft hint of a chocolate taste. Honestly, the taste is not strong at all. It's barely even there. However, it is there enough to taste a slight sweet cocoa when you lick the skin. Downside is it does have a lotion after taste that is not very chocolaty at all.

Performance

In the softening department, this is surely a good hit home. It does indeed make my hands feel very soft with little effort and little product needed. I do not have to reapply very often for just softening my hands. If you do wish to use the product for a back massing, you will have to apply often. The product absorbs in to the skin quite fast, which is in no way a bad thing if being used as a hand lotion.

As for the smell, it seems to go away shortly after being absorbed in to the skin. Seems to last maybe about 10 mins after it's applied and absorbed, but not much longer after. The sweet scent lasts about a minute or two, then you have about 3-4 minutes of the lotion after taste.

If you accidentally apply too much, this product is easily washed off with a tissue. And even though it's brown in color, it does not stain your skin. I am not sure about for clothing since I have not spilled it.

I myself will probably continue to use this as a hand lotion. It's nice to have a lotion where I do not have to wash my hands to get the taste off before eating a snack. even though it does have an after taste, it is tolerable.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Long lasting
Follow-up commentary
I honestly do not use this very much anymore. I still do like it, don't get me wrong. But it does just hang out in my box not touched very often. I still have plenty left!
