Sparkly Lips

This gloss makes your lips look shiny. It lasts one hour without reapplication. It however did not plump my lips and made them tingle for half an hour. It has no color when you get it on your lips though. Edens has better glosses for much cheaper.

Use

First off I think the price for this gloss is far too high. Eden’s sells better glosses for less than this. It’s supposed to plump your lips but It didn’t plump mine and made my lips tingle for half an hour. It also absorbs fairly quickly over a one hour time frame. It lasts one hour without a balm as a base and moisturizes as well. You can put a balm as a base and it will last longer. However the color is extremely sheer. I purchased pinkini and in the bottle it looks pink but when you put it on it’s transparent with a sparkle to it. It feels really smooth on my lips and isn’t at all sticky. The gloss is really thin though on my lips. It doesn’t run all over or get messy but it’s just thin. There’s a very mild sweet smell to. It reminds me of a dessert. The smell is very mild though. Don’t get this in your mouth because it does not taste good. It will leave a very nasty, chemical taste in your mouth. This gloss is made by Principessa Beauty. Principessa has this gloss in four colors; Kitten pink, Naked Pink, Pink-a-boo and Pinkini. But my product throw down of this would be; The color goes on clear, it doesn’t plump my lips, it moisturizes, it sparkles, it lasts an hour without a base balm or lipstick, it lasts longer if you have a base balm or lipstick, it’s a thin gloss, it smell faintly of a dessert, and it tastes awful should you have the misfortune of getting it in your mouth. Oh yes, I forgot the tingling that lasts half an hour.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

As I said I think this is a thin gloss but it feels silky on your lips. It’s not gross or sticky or lumpy. It may be a thin gloss but it doesn’t run all over the place. You put it on your lips and it stays there. Pinkini gloss comes with a wand to get it out of the tube and the gloss just glides on your lips. It gives your lips a wet look with a sparkle to them. Just remember it does tingle and it didn’t plump my lips. That is just me however and it may plump your lips.

Taste / Aroma

The taste of this gloss is awful if you get it in your mouth. It’s a chemical sort of taste with an awful aftertaste. Pinkini is not meant to be tasted. So if you’re looking for a flavored gloss this is not for you. The scent is extremely light and reminds me of a dessert though. It reminds me of cake. So that’s nice. It’s not a fancy gloss; just a typical, basic gloss.

Performance

Without a base balm or lipstick this will last you an hour. However it will last longer with a base balm or lipstick. This stuff is not sticky so you won’t have to wash it off. If you do want to wash it off though all you have to do is grab a napkin and wipe it off. I like the sparkle this gives to my lips but I wish it had the color that it looks like in the bottle because it goes on clear. I have one beef about this gloss; it’s priced far too high for how basic it is. There’s no color once it goes on your lips. The color in the bottle is deceiving. Just plan on a clear gloss if you get this. It does not plump my lips but it does moisturize them. Pinkini gloss feels very smooth once on your lips. If you’re looking for a wet, smooth, sparkle look then this is for you. Think those models with the shiny lips!
Gloss tube
    • Absorbs into skin nicely

Packaging

Packaging wise pinkini gloss comes in a plastic tube with a wand to apply. The wand is very easy to get out of the gloss and easy to apply. The plastic tube is enclosed in a pink round cardboard container that is so cute and girly. I actually store the gloss tube in its cardboard container. The tube contains 0.2 ounces of gloss. You won’t have to worry about the gloss leaking out of this tube of gloss. There’s no leaking and it doesn’t make a mess.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Easy to use / dispense

Awesome review! This sounds like my kind of lip gloss. I'm sorry it didn't live up to your expectations. A lot of "plumping" glosses don't really work, but I've found a couple that do work really really well. This still sounds nice just as a lip gloss though. Thank you for sharing so much about it. Very appreciated. I've been looking around and comparing the lip glosses here, so your reviews on this one and that other one have been a big help!

Thank you for your review, doll! It was very helpful indeed. Most plumping glosses only make your lips feel tingly, they don't really plump. I quite enjoy the tingly feeling, but if it has a bad taste, it's a no go for me.
