Dona body wash - soap discontinued by System JO - review by PeaceToTheMiddleEast

Dona body wash is from System Jo. Between this and the bath foam, I enjoy this one much better. It is made to leave your skin feeling soft, fresh and clean. Men or women could use this, since the scent does not linger long on the skin.

The product is paraben free, cruelty free, and petro. Deriv. free. I actually don't think it is 100% natural as it claims. Like I said I had a reaction to this in my feminine area and had to get a feminine product to help bring me back to normal.

As with anything you should do a test and make sure you are not allergic to it.

The ingredients are:
Purified Water (Aqua), Sodium C 14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Chloride, Nymphaea Caerulea (Blue Lotus) Flower, Lycium Barbarum (Goji) berry, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed, Euterpe Oleracea (Açaí) Fruit, Morinda Citrifolia (Noni) Fruit, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf, Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Pericarp Extracts, Propanediol, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazone, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance.

The body was is a gel that is yellow in color; it comes out a little thinner than the bath foam does and some other shower gels that I have used. It has a sleek type of feel to it. It is not sticky or greasy. When you rub it into your skin it lathers up rather nicely. I use two pumps on my loofah and that is good enough for my whole body.

It comes out of a pump top. I did notice that if bumped or hit from the side it will come up on its own. I have often went in the shower and found some sitting in my bathtub and I know my tub was clean when I got out of it. I have a shower rack but it is in the form of mesh and hangs across my shower bar, so there are all kinds of stuff in there that can knock into it.

This comes in 6 different scents. Pomegranate, Acai, Goji Berry, Camu Camu, Mangosteen. I chose the Goji Berry and the Blue Lotus. These two I love very much.

Goji Berry
I chose to get the Goji Berry scent, hoping it would smell like berries and I was right it did. I like either berry smelling scents or floral scents and this was right up my alley. I really don't know what a Goji berry smells like or tastes like but I enjoy the smell of this. I do know that lately I have been seeing candies and other stuff marketing the Goji berry which is a berry that is not found in the USA but in countries such as China, Mongolia and in the Himalayas in Tibet. Goji berries are usually found dried. They are shriveled red berries that look like red raisins. Thanks to the internet I looked that up. I do know one thing I am glad they are bringing them over this way because the scent of these berries are awesome.

Blue Lotus
This has more of a floral smell but it is a nice light floral smell. I really enjoy the smell of this one.

Just to let you know I have used this in my other Dona Goji Berry scent reviews because everything I got in that scent all smells the same. So if you are seeing it over and over again there is no other way to explain the scent but the way I have from my first review of this scent in this line.

I did not taste this product, and I don't suggest you do. As delicious as this smells, this is an external-only use product that should not be consumed.

With this product it is good to use a loofah or sponge. I use both, the gel lathers up really nicely with them. The only issue is it does take a bit of rinsing when you are finish to get it off of the loofah or sponge, but it comes off easily on the body. The smell lasts for about five minutes when you exit the shower and you can smell it in the bathroom for a few but then it fades away. I really enjoy how this makes my skin feel as well, too keep the aroma going I will apply my Dona body butter in this scent. With them together they work wonderful.
