Thick and Nourishing

This is a nice conditioner that leaves hair feeling very soft. It's a nice treat to indulge in, but it's not any better than any other salon brand conditioner in my opinion. It might be a little too much for oily hair types, but will be great for dry hair and normal hair.

Use

Terme Tresses Conditioner from Principessa Beauty is a great smelling product that is used to soften the and improve the condition of the hair. It has many natural and moisturizing ingredients, although it is not "all natural." It is a very thick and luxurious conditioner that leaves hair smelling and feeling great. It is very feminine and look and smell, so it would make a great girft for a bridal shower or something of that nature. It can be used by men as well if they aren't put off by the feminine looking bottle.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The conditioner was one of the thickest I have ever seen . It does not pour at all and is closer to the consistency of a thick body butter than a typical conditioner. It isn't greasy or slimey feeling compared to other conditioners, but feels a lot like a thick lotion. It can be difficult to get out of the bottom at times since it is so thick, ezpecially when there isn't much left in the bottle. Even though it is thick, it still was able to be worked through my hair pretty easily. It takes a bit longer than other conditioners to wash out, but it left my hair feeling nice and smooth after it was washed out.

Taste / Aroma

The scent was strong and was very floral. While the scent was strong in the shower and in the bottle, once my hair was dry the scent was barely noticable. I do get compliments from my partner in how great I smell after I use this.

The scent is very floral and to me smells a lot like rose with maybe some other floral scents mixed in. I do like floral scents a lot so I thought it was a very lovely scent. According to Principessa it has "top notes which include violet leaves & mimosa (orange flower) blended with middle notes of rose petals & neroli, Heliotrope & precious woods." It's a very feminine scent and makes me feel very sexy when I have the scent on me.

Performance

The conditioner did leave my hair feeling soft, but I am not sure whether it was due to it actually improving the condition of my hair or because it coats your hair in silicone. It does contain alcohol, but it is cetyl alcohol which isn't as drying as most other alcohols. It does not seem to have many filler ingredients so the 12 oz. should last a long time since it is so concentrated. Not very much product is needed at all. I have very thick, dry, wavy hair that goes halfway down my back and I usually need a lot of conditioner. With this conditioner I only needed a little more than a nickle sized amount. I expect this bottle to last me for quite awhile, which lets the high procetag feel a little more reasonable.

The bottle says to leave it on for 1-5 minutes. It acts almost like a mask for the hair allowing the oils to penetrate into the hair. For me this was great because I have very dry hair and allowing the oils to penetrate really makes a difference.

The conditioner takes a little longer than others to wash out of the hair. I would attribute this to having to many oil and silicone ingredients in it which tend to repel water. But once it is washed out, it leave the hair feeling smooth and makes my hair much less tangled.

Packaging

The bottle the conditioner comes in is very cute. It is a very girly pink plastic bottle with a white label and cap. The bottle is exactly the same as the bottle that the shampoo comes in, and like I said in that review it can be difficult to tell which is which if you are like me and can't read the label without glasses. I ended up having to mark my conditioner with a piece of tape so that I could tell them apart in the shower. I wish they would either use larger print or use slightly different packaging for the shampoo and conditioner.

The conditioner is so thick that I sometimes had trouble getting it out of the bottle especially as there got to be only a little bit left in the bottle. The cap is not flat enough to store it upside down without it tipping over, so it can be frustrating to get the conditioner out since it doesn't pour.

Personal comments

The ingredients list is as follows, please look to see if there are any ingredients that you may be sensitive to before buying. There are a lot of nourishing oils to moisturize the hair and silicones to coat the hair to seal it in. I don't see any of the typical "filler" ingredients that low quality hair products use to water down product to make it cheaper to make so this is likely concentrated with .

I'm glad it doesn't take much to do the job! And I wasn't aware of the silicone properties it gets from the ingredients; I'm glad you talked about that.
