extremely useful review
I already own two of these things by different companies but I just couldn't resist getting another one. The Heart Warmer massager by Pipedream is a multi-purpose massager that heats up with when you bend the metal disc located inside the massager. This massager is great for giving massages to your partner or using it on your own to massage and soothe those aches that you can reach on your own. Run it over your partners chest, stomach, back, just about anywhere to relax and soothe them or get them in the mood!

It fits nicely in your hand and is easy hold. It is 5" in length and width. When giving a massage you will want to be careful with the edges; they can be a bit scratchy. The massager is made of PVC and smells like it, what I would describe as a pool raft or one of those blow up kids punching bags. The directions are printed on the back of the product box unlike some others that are printed directly on the back of the actual massager. I recommend keeping the box if you don't want to come back online to check how to re-activate it.

The material will massage easily over skin but lubricant or a massage oil can make things better. You can use type of lubricant or massage oil with this material.

To activate the heart, I find it easy to tilt it until the disc comes near the edge somewhere. Grab the disc and lightly bend it. The liquid inside the heart will quickly begin to crystallize, as it does it changes to a lighter color. Knead the crystals around until the entire heart is activated and to keep the massager soft. After being activated for awhile it will begin to stiffen so you will need to knead it some during the massage. Eventually it will just remain firm but still maintains heat for a nice massage.

The Heart Warmer will stay hot 30-45 minuets. The massager can reach up to 129 degrees so you will want to be careful when using it, if it feels to hot, move it and don't leave it in one place until it cools a little. Listen to your partner if you are giving the massage to ensure you don't burn them. If it is too hot, you can place a cloth over it and continue to massage. I've had a couple of these for a few years now and I've never been burned by one. Once the heart cools down and becomes stiff you can store it away then or you can re-activate it before putting it away so it will be ready for the next use.

To re-activate the heart, wrap it in a cloth, place it in boiling water for up to 10 minuets or until all the crystals turn back to liquid. I have other massagers like this that didn't mention covering it with a cloth when boiling and I never have and didn't have a problem with them. Never put this in the microwave!

Besides massages, there are plenty of other uses for these hearts! You can use them for headaches, muscle aches, tired achy feet, to warm up cold hands, menstrual cramps. I found it soothing to place over my incision after I had foot surgery to ease the pain. It has also come in handy to hold against my jaw for the toothache I woke up with. It can also help with joint pain.

These are also great to give as gifts! Who wouldn't enjoy something so handy?!

This massager is more discreet than the others because there isn't anything printed on it. But really, none of these products are sexual or offensive.
Follow-up commentary
I love this heart, I have a few different ones and they're all the same. They are great for aches and pains, tired and sore muscles. They are also great for heated massages. You can't go wrong with getting one of these!
