Liberator wedge ramp combo - position pillow by Liberator - review by Beautiful Dreamer

I’ve heard so many good things about the Liberator Wedge/Ramp. While I wanted to try them, I was one of those people who couldn’t believe the price tag on micro fiber, foam, zippers, and nylon covers. When my partner expressed that he wanted these as a Holiday gift, I finally gave in. I’m now converted. This is the best foam I’ve ever purchased!

Arriving in a very large (up to my waist) cardboard box, I drug it into the house and eagerly tore in. The positions book was right on top with the Wedge & Ramp coated in a white plastic that had “love all ways *kiss mark* Liberator” printed in red on it. Cute. I pulled the pieces out and removed the plastic.

There is a care card included. They recommend washing the covers first, because the signature micro fiber is pressure sensitive and basically gets flattened during shipping. I (carefully) unzipped the covers and threw them in the wash (cold water, delicate cycle. Tumble dry low, no bleach, no iron).
Immediately after removing from the dryer you’re supposed to place these back on the foam pieces. There is a layer beneath the micro fiber, the Teflon coating, which should not ever be removed, but can be wiped down. I ordered mine in black and they did not fade in the wash.

The big question was would these foam pieces replace the intricate piles of pillows I’ve mastered over the years? Simply, yes. The wedge has proved to be invaluable. I know most people are more fond of the ramp, but the wedge has really gotten a work out. It works wonders for missionary and oral. My partner and I are on the shorter side (5’8” & 5’4”), so this may be why we’ve had more luck with the wedge. Don’t get me wrong, the ramp is awesome too! It works best for us for doggie style and it’s the perfect height to prop the receiver up on the edge of the bed so the other can stand (this will depend a lot on the height of your bed & partner). Clean up is a breeze because of the very absorbent micro fiber cover. Simply unzip & throw it back into the wash.

The use of the wedge & ramp extend way beyond sex. I’m actually lying on the ramp with the wedge firmly planted under my knees while I type this review out on my notebook. It really improves positioning in a lot of applications (watching TV, sit ups, etc.). They hold their shape well and because of the outer covers, stay clean during storage.

The Liberator wedge & ramp combo may at first seem like very pricey foam, but for us, it’s become a necessity in the bedroom. It improves positioning and makes clean up very easy. The guide provides a good starting point on positions and with some creativity, you’ll see why the wedge/ramp combo is worth the investment. The only problem is that I now want more pieces from the Liberator line!
