I was ready to hate this product the moment I first saw it in my store for a whole lot of reasons.

Reason #1 being that ON is Dr. Jennifer Berman's brainchild. As in the lesser known, but equally horrendous, sister of Dr. Laura Berman. Both are of talk show circuit (I'm looking at you Dr. Oz and Oprah) fame for bringing so called "awareness" to Female Sexual Dysfunction, which is a whole other rant. As far as I'm concerned, both sisters are a disgrace to women, making me hesitant at best of any products they are linked to.

Reason #2 is that it is manufactured by Sensuva Organics. The vegan/ eco-friendly/ borderline hippie in me was thrilled at first. Natural based intimate products are hard enough to find, let alone organic ones. But then I read the ingredient list. Not one item is certified organic. In fact, there is no mention anywhere on the packaging of an organic certification board. So at a first glance you think you are doing something good for you and the environment, but you really aren't. Sensuva Organics did not actually use anything organic in this product.

Reason #3 IT IS OIL BASED! That is right ladies, oil based. As in should be avoided around both the urethra and vagina, since it causes all sorts of angry vagina infection times. So when using ON, you need to be careful where you are applying it, make sure none accidentally slips during use, and wash up right after. And if you are going to be using this with a partner even more caution needs to be used since oil based products like to degrade latex. The contact can cause holes in condoms and dental dams.

These were all enough reason for me to never use ON, but my store received a tester bottle to use for promotion. It definitely has a strong smell that you will either love or hate. I'm more on the hate side. You definitely notice heavy clove and cinnamon notes in the oil. I tested it out on my lips, since it is also a mucus membrane like downstairs and would have the same effect. It felt horrible! Instead of a gentle warming or tingling that most clit gels provide, this one felt like fire. It burned so bad, and for so long. I will never use it on my clit, it doesn't deserve to suffer like that.

And just in case all these weren't enough reasons not to go for this one, the price most certainly is. It costs around the same as most other brands clitoral stimulating gels but you only get 5mL in a bottle, compared to the average 30-35 mL most other companies provide.
