Mood lube 5 pack - lubricant discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by LadyTL

Given that these are just sample tubes, you probably won't be doing much experimenting with this set. I used them in a fairly standard manner vaginally and they worked, somewhat. If you are sensitive down there these products may not be the best for you. I had a badish reaction from the silicone lube and there was just not enough staying power for the rest.

The textures on most were okay though as they dried out, they got tacky very quickly. It is a little too easy to pour though, often leading to a bigger amount than I wanted to use even with being careful. The silicone one was greasy from the start in a really icky way.

For the most part they had no real smell except the Sensitive one. That one had a really awful smell to it and lingered even after washing it off.

These lubes had no staying power. I had to reapply them often, going through the bottle very quickly. It was easy to reapply them, but I would rather do it less than having to stop every few minutes. They all cleaned up well, except for the smell from the Sensitive one. I did have to wash them off though, since they did not absorb cleanly into the skin.

The lubes were packaged both neatly and securely. It's kind of discreet, but I wouldn't use it for travel since after you open the packaging, the bottles are not very secure. The labels were very clear on the ingredients and are very clearly labeled with what they are. Unfortunately there is no toy interaction warnings on the packaging which could pose a problem with the silicone lube.

They have three special lubes, one for Warming, Tingling and Sensitive. Only the warming worked at all, I got no feeling of anything from the other two. The warming one worked really well though, as it was nothing but glycerin.

All in all, I found this set to be disappointing, as someone who is used to lubes and knows what she likes in them. The amount of mess from the packaging really added to it as well.
