Pretty Please With A Cherry On Top?

The Please Cream water based lubricant is definitely the one to use if you're looking for a change from your normal slimy clear lubricant. The opaque white color and creamy texture lends itself to luscious romantic evenings. Although quite a bit is needed to properly lubricate, it's safe on whatever you may put it on. It doesn't even stain sheets.

Use

Please Cream is a water-based lubricant by Pleasure Works. Since it's water-based it can be used on any product your intimate heart so desires, from silicone to UR3, from dildos to condoms to skin. It's different than your average water-based lube, however. It's got a luxurious creamy texture for those ultra posh nights. I left a dab on a spare piece of silicone for about 12 hours and it didn't damage the silicone one bit. Just left an easy-to-clean residue. I was assigned the 8 ounce bottle so it's going to last me a while. I've never really used a water based lubricant in the shower, however, so I'm not sure how this one will work. Also, I wouldn't eat it since it's not made for that. Another plus is that it's glycerin and paraben free!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of this lube is unlike most (if not all) water-based lubes out there. Instead of it being tacky or slimy, it's luxuriously creamy. Since it's water-based, it's still somewhat runny, but it's very easy to pour and is much less runny than most water-based lubricants. I personally love the texture and it's perfect for those nights I want to be extra luxurious.

Taste / Aroma

The lube isn't "scented", but it does smell like that Gak toy for little kids. It's not very strong, but the smell is there. There's no taste, but since it's not technically "edible", you shouldn't put it in your morning coffee or on your hamburgers.

Performance

Since this lube is creamy, there's a big payoff in how well it lubricates things. It takes a lot more lube than I'm used to to get things to where they're nice and lubricated. It's not that the lube dries up quickly, it's that the lube itself isn't that wet. It has much more of a cream or lotion texture than it does a lube texture. Since it's water based, it cleans right up afterwards with water. If you're okay with it not lubricating as well and instead would rather have the creamy texture, then go for this; otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

Packaging

This lube arrived at my house simply wrapped in shrink wrap. It wasn't in a box or anything. The bottle itself is very nice, however. The front says "Please Cream water based lubricant 8floz", and on the back it says various things about the lube (as listed on the EF page), and a list of ingredients. It's not very discreet as it looks like a bottle of lube; however, it does also look convincing as a moisturizing lotion bottle. There really aren't instructions needed for lube and there are none. To open, just press on one side of the top and the other pops up. The bottle is also very pretty, lending itself to being giftable.

It's a shame that you require more than a small amount of it - that's always pretty frustrating to me. Having to pour on the lube is a bit off-putting. Cheers!

Thanks for the review. Reading through the ingredients, I see dimethicone; isn't that a silicone component? Isn't this a hybrid lube? Good to know it didn't damage your silicone toy!

Gak! Maybe it's made by the same company. lol! It makes me think of how weird and awful Gak would be as a lube. Thanks for the review.
