Pop the top and refresh your pleasure! Climax Bursts cooling lubricant is a water based lube packing Vitamin E rich beads that soothe and cool on contact. This lubricant is the perfect grab for toy play with an added surprise of sensations that will have your climax bursting!

Climax Bursts has a line of lubricants that offer extra sensations all in one bottle. I chose the cooling because I have tried tingling and warming lubes. But cooling is new for me. I enjoy ice play and wanted to try a cooling lubricant. Climax gets an A from me. Number one, this lube is water based. This is very important for anyone who uses sex toys. Most toys are not compatible with other lubes; only water based. Finding a water based lube with extras can be difficult. Climax Bursts did an excellent job with adding extra stimulation into toy play. I am very pleased with every aspect of this product.

Water, Acrylates copolymer, Propylene glycol, Hydroxyethyl urea,Dimethicone PEG-7 cocoate, Cellulose gum, Polyquaternium 15, Tocopherylacetate, Retinyl palmitate, Chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flowerextract, Menthyl lactate, Ascorbyl palmitate, Panth

Most of them may seem like gibberish, but the main point is that this lube is glycerin and L Arginine free. It does contain parabens and propylene glycol as do most water based lubricants. Parabens are effective preservatives in many types of formulas. Their efficacy as preservatives, in combination with their low cost, their long history of safe use and the unproven efficacy of natural alternatives like grapefruit seed extract probably explains why parabens are so common place. They are becoming increasingly controversial, however, some organizations which adhere to the precautionary principle object to their everyday use. Propylene glycol is an organic compound. It is a colorless, nearly odorless, clear, viscous liquid with a faintly sweet taste, hygroscopic and miscible with water, acetone, and chloroform.

The texture of the lubricant is a little tacky, but not too much to bother me. It is a cross between water and gel. The consistency is ideal for toy play because a small amount produces enough slick to last through long use. It is clear with blue (bursting) beads throughout it. The smell is a little off. It smells like Elmer Glue to me, but a lot of flavorless lubes do. The lube is close to tasteless, but does have little sweetness to it, but not enough to bother me, I have used this lube for oral sex, and it was pleasant enough to use again.

Cooling is the up side to this water based lube. It is filled with tiny bursting beads that explode when used. They worked very well for me. The lube was not instantly cooling, but as I added friction to it, the beads began to burst and it was very enjoyable and very noticeable. My favorite use for this lube is toy play. But it is also great for oral sex and penetration. It is not good as a masturbation lube though due to the tackiness of it.

The bottle is my favorite part of the entire product. It comes in a 4 fl oz volume. The bottle is very discrete. It can be placed just about anywhere without worrying about it being obvious. The bottle has a pop top lid that sits nicely on top. The dispensing lid is a squeeze style which I absolutely adore. It works by adding pressure to squeeze the lube out, but never leaks. I held the bottle upside down for five minutes and not one drop came out. I love this bottle. I never have to worry about leaks, never! The bottle includes product details, ingredients, simple directions, copyright info, and warnings.

Cleanup is is very easy. When I used this lube, most was absorbed when I was finished, but there were a few beads left behind which needing a little cleanup. Other than that, it was easy breezy.

Cautions: Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Follow-up commentary
I would use Climax Bursts again just to add the blast of cooling sensation. It changes things up a bit, and is not my regular play. I get extra arousal when I use it during toy play. If searching for a plain water based lube, Climax cooling would not be my first choice. But it does very nice for a change in routine.

Loving the bottle on this one too. I gotta say it's probably my favorite part too - without having tried it of course.

Thanks for this review. I have tried the warming and tingling ones as well, but I honestly didn't like them. I have tried the cooling effect condoms before and I love them, unfortunately I have a latex allergy and I have yet to find any non-latex condoms that have flavors or any kind of effects to them. So this product may be the answer! I will give this a try.
