Original gel lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by Lucy

The lubricants I've reviewed so far have fallen into two categories - good, and not bad. None have been awful. And Wet Gel lube|Wet gel lubricant is no exception. It's good.

One thing I would definitely say if you decide to purchase this lubricant is just spend that little bit more to get the bigger bottle with the pump action lid, because the one I tested had the screw on lid. This presents you with two choices; interrupt what you're doing to screw the lid back on, and risk losing your rhythm, or let it leak. Even when placed on a flat surface the bottle started to dribble lubricant. It's definitely not advisable to buy the smaller one with the screw lid, and if you must, make sure you put it on a surface that's easy to wipe clean! It would have been a better design if it had been a bottle that stands up and has the nozzle at the top.

Other than that, I was pretty impressed with the performance of the Wet gel lube|Wet gel lubricant review. It felt lovely and silky to the touch, and didn't leave any stickiness behind. It doesn't have any smell, and rather than tasting of nothing, it had a very faint minty taste. It's not intended as a flavored lube|Reviews: System JO H20 flavored lubricant but it's a hardly noticeable taste - but did make a pleasant change of nothingness!

The Wet Gel lasted plenty long enough and is great in any situation, whether masturbating manually, with a sex toy|Anal Sex Toys, or having fun with your partner. I didn't get any lumpy bits after reapplying, which is excellent. It was easy to clean up afterwards too, and didn't appear to stain anything.

Overall, I think this is a good value for money lubricant, which does exactly what it's supposed to. It is a water-based lubricant, so it's toy and condom friendly, and I'm looking forward to using the rest of the bottle.
