Ashley Boutique striped bra - bra discontinued by Oh La La Cheri - review by klyte

I've had bad run-ins with bras that simply aren't the size they say. This isn't true of the Ashley bra I bought my partner, and she's been beaming every time she wears it.

This set is by far the most comfortable I've ever gotten for her, and it shows. It's both flattering and makes all the difference in the way she feels in it. Everything from the lace overlay, to the size of the cups is both beautiful to see on her and comfortable against her skin.

First and foremost, this bra is so true to size it's ridiculous. It fits better than some of our store bought bras that are in the same exact size. It has a double hook closure in the back and the straps are adjustable and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. There are little bows adorning the front of them that match the bow on the underwear that goes with the bra. They aren't the greatest looking bows ever, but they're cute enough and add to the overall look. Lining the bottom are ruffles that also match the underwear. On the rest of the bra is a navy blue and white pinstripe print that is understated, but still elegant enough to wear in the bedroom if you like a less flashy bra and underwear set. I really love that these look plain without actually being plain and really have a lot of detail when it comes down to the quality.

The tag states that the material of the bra is identical to the panties. 90% nylon and 10% spandex, to give it that extra little stretch for those who don't perfectly fit to the size chart. This is a bra that has underwire, but I find it to be very comfortable for the most part and really gives my partner a lot of support in the chest area that she needs.

The lace overlay on the front isn't scratchy as one would think, but actually really soft and delicate. The entire set has a softer lace to it, which can snag on things easily, but it feels great for wearing under clothing and against skin. I love that this is something my partner can wear comfortably under clothing just out and it doesn't necessarily only have to be an outfit for bedroom play. It's something you can wear out casually but still feel sexy in.

Washing the bra can be tricky, as I haven't had the need to yet. The tag states specifically not to machine wash it, and I don't really want to risk it since some bras get warped when washed and dried by machine. The tag suggests hand washing only and hanging to dry, which is probably what I'll do when it comes down to needing it washed.
