These sheer lace top stockings by Leg Avenue are really unique, featuring a woven bow and floral pattern on the outer sides of the stocking. They are really beautiful, but just are not useful without a garter belt. They continually slide down off of my thigh even just walking from a couch to a mirror 10 feet away. Walking around all day in these would be impossible without garters.

The stockings come in black and white. I purchased the black. They are 100% nylon exclusive of decoration. Instructions on the packaging indicate that they should be hand washed warm, never ironed or dried, and to only use non-chlorine bleach when needed. They're made in Taiwan. The packaging is cardboard, typical of Leg Avenue.




These are one size fits all. The packaging says these will fit anyone 90-160 pounds. I am well within that range at about 105/110 pounds. I'm 5'2"ish and my thigh is 19.5" around at its thickest and about 17" around where these hit me.

Measurements of the stockings right out of the package were a 7" wide top, 2" wide foot, and 23" long. After trying them on, they were stretched but eventually went back down to their original size. Unstretched by a leg, the design is about 5.25" long, but it stretches according to your leg size. As you can see by my pictures, the design is definitely longer than that.

These are really soft on and off. I am afraid that they are fragile because they are really thin and sheer. The lace is well made. It has a floral pattern that is really simple but pretty. There is also a rhinestone on the bow part of the design. This adds to its aesthetic appeal, but I do worry that it will eventually fall off on just one of the stockings and then be stuck on the other, while will look silly.



The reason these don't stay up well is because the lace top is only a lace top. There is nothing on the top to help hold it up, so it really just slides down. Luckily I have a few garter options, so this isn't a problem. If you don't have anything with garters, throw a garter belt into your cart when you buy these. Otherwise they'll be pretty useless.

I really like these and they fit me well, but it is definitely annoying that they won't stay up alone. I expect that thigh highs won't miraculously stay up perfectly, but to just slip down entirely is a whole other story. However, I do love the design and they're soft and comfortable other than the tops slipping. I think these would be great for either play or wearing out and intend to use them for both. They're not very expensive, so overall, I think I got a good buy. I'm only going to give them 3 stars though, because functionality of tights is pretty important.
