The Sheer Lace Top Stockings With Woven Floral and Bow Pattern by Leg Avenue are available in one-size-fits-most only and the colours white or black. I purchased the black pair of stockings.

The stockings arrived in a cardboard package surrounded by plastic. The front of the package states the company name, product name, size, and has a photo of a model wearing the pantyhose. The back of the packaging states the same information as the front, and also has the care instructions, material composition, and company contact information. The packaging is not ideal for storing the stockings when they are not being worn.



The stockings are 100% nylon (exclusive of trim). The stockings are very stretchy. The company states that the one-size-fits-most is best suited for those in the weight bracket of 90-160lbs. I’m actually slightly above the highest number in the weight bracket but most of the time I have fairly good luck with the one-size-fits-most stockings/pantyhose. I’ve taken measurements of the stockings laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, let me know and I’ll get them for you.

The stockings are black in colour and are sheer. They become more sheer the more they are stretched. There is a raised black velvet design on each of the stockings. This design is approximately 5 ½ inches in length and 1 ¾ inches wide when unstretched. Of course, the more you stretch the stockings, the more stretched the design will look/be. At the centre of the design, there is a white sparkly, gem. The gem has a diameter of a little less than 2/8 of an inch. The toe area is not reinforced.

I’m 5’6 and I’m able to pull the stockings quite high up my thigh. The length works for my height. I’ve got thick legs/thighs too. The lace band as well as the stocking material stretches enough to fit me comfortably. The issue I had with the stockings is that the lace band rolls and slips down my leg. The lace is very thin, and has no silicone backing to it to hold the stocking up while wearing them. I had put the stockings on, walked around the house, and sure enough the band started rolling and the stockings started slipping down my legs. To avoid this, the wearer could attach garter straps to the stockings to hold them up.



I really love the design! I think it’s very elegant looking. The design can be worn anywhere around the leg, depending on how you put the stockings on. I prefer the designs to be on the outside of the leg. My partner really likes the look of the stockings on me. Other than the rolling band, the material is very comfortable and soft against the skin. I have no complaints about irritation while wearing them.



The packaging states that the pantyhose should be hand washed in warm water and drip dried. Only non-chlorine bleach should be used on the stockings and they should not be ironed.

Overall, I’m happy with the stockings. I’ve deducted one star because of the rolling band. I wish the stockings stayed up without the need for garter straps, but they’re such a gorgeous pair of stockings that I guess I’ll need to invest in a garter belt.
