Black With White Stripes? Or White With Black Stripes? (34B)

This bra is very close to perfect, if you're not expecting absolute tip top everything. There were a few small loose/frayed threads that were easily taken care of, and it won't work very well as a strapless bra, but it is comfortable to wear for long periods of time and works well as a bra in general. I can't find anything overly serious wrong with this bra, just superficial things. I most definitely recommend getting it if your size is available.

extremely useful review
It came in a plastic bag with a bunch of tissue paper. There was a tag attached to the bra that showed the different ways you could wear the straps, and a tag on the inside of the bra that gives the size, materials, and care. This bra is 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex, and should be hand washed warm and line dried. If you normally run your bras through the washing machine and dryer, this one should be fine too. Feel free to store it anywhere else you normally keep your bras.

The sizing on this is a bit easier and harder to talk about at the same time. On the one hand, there are no sizing charts to worry about since this is a sized bra. On the other hand, sometimes sizes don't run consistently even with "standard" sizes. I usually wear a 34B, so that's what I picked up and it fit me just fine on all three hook settings. On the smallest it was a bit tight, so I alternate between the middle and end ones.

The name is a bit misleading. When something says it's a push up bra, I usually expect there to be extra padding towards the bottom of the cups to push the breasts up. With this one there wasn't, there was just enough padding on the whole cup to count it as a "padded" bra although I might lean more towards "molded" than padded. However, I still seemed to end up with some extra cleavage so I'm not going to complain too much.

The underwire seems solidly built and will provide support adequately enough. The sides extend a total of 18 1/2" from the cups, which are about 6 1/4" wide and about 5" tall. True to the name here, they have a deep plunge and don't actually meet, instead having about 3/4" of space between the bottom of them.

The straps are completely removable, which allows for the 4-way wearing. You can wear the straps how they come in a "standard" arrangement, remove one and feed the other around your neck for a halter arrangement, cross them both behind your shoulders to get an X, or remove them both entirely to go strapless. I wouldn't recommend that last one very much because the way the cups are designed, you really want straps. There's nothing other than the band to hold the bra in place if you don't have at least one strap on, and for larger breasts there's no way to go strapless.

For a $10 bra, the craftsmanship isn't all that bad. I found one loose thread and another frayed thread, both of which were easily taken care of with a pair of scissors and aren't troublesome any longer. The pattern was really nice as well, being a vibrant zebra print on the cups and along the underwire and a simple black for the sides and the strap. It's enough to make a statement without going overboard for most.

Are you ready now for the barrage of pictures? I ended up taking a bunch, so I wanted to put them all in one place to make them easy to skip if anybody wanted just the text and not the pictures.

The first pictures I have are of the loose/frayed threads. One up on the top of a cup, and the other between the cups:

The next is me comparing it to the Maddie push up bra from Aerie where you can see the difference in interior padding and how each cup compares size wise:

Here you can get a look at each of the ways you can wear it. To see it with no straps, hold your finger over the back of my neck while looking at the halter style:

And finally we have a front and side view:

Experience
I love animal print and will often go out of my way to get things in animal print if I can. So when I saw that we were now carrying sized bras and I could get it in animal print, I did a jump for joy and promptly added one to my next order. I'm ridiculously happy with it because even if it doesn't last me a super long time, it was only $10 and won't break the bank to replace when the time comes. Even if that time is a month or two sooner than I should be replacing it.

I went back and forth on a rating for a while. Subjectively, 5 stars. I love the pattern and the fit and the comfort. It works great as an all day bra. Objectively though, there were a few quality issues, there's nothing to push up the breasts, and it's really not going to work in one of the four ways it claims it will. I'd love to give it 4.5 stars, but in the interest of being fair I'll round down.

Great review and wonderful pictures! I'm low on bras (I only have one "decent" one right now) and I'm used to even cheaper bras than this so I think this will be fine for me, especially since I get it with points! I'm going to get one of each of the bras, I think, to try them all out. I hope my experience isn't too bad!
