Pink la vie en rose bustier - bustier discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by Eva Schwaltz

This is a sexy piece you can wear in the home or out if you so choose. I have come to love Seven 'til Midnight because their pieces are so well made and this is no exception. I have the small but you can get it from size small through XL. If pink isn’t your thing, you can also get red and black.

It has no boning but I don’t think it needs any. It also has adjustable and removable shoulder straps. It has four adjustable garters which can also be removed. There is also an included thong which is just a tiny little thing that I can live without. It came in one of those thick plastic bags with a snap cover, similar to those costume bag packages.

It is made of 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex. It is fairly stretchy. The material feels like satin and is silky smooth. The front has an extra layer on the inside that feels like mesh but it’s not scratchy against the skin at all.

It’s very summery. It is covered in pink and green flowers with a black panel in the front, and there are three pink bows. One between the cups and a bow near each hip. They add a nice touch so I don’t see any need for taking them off with a seam ripper. The bottom of the bustier has a nice trim that flares out which hides the garters nicely if you so choose to use them. It’s also very flattering.

The back has 15 hook-n-eye closures of which there are three rows. While doing the hooks up, some of the hooks will easily come undone. To fix this, I had to press down on the hooks and bend them towards the bustier and now they won’t fall out of place as I try to do them up.

I am 5/1”, 115 lbs, 34C chest, and wear a size 4 and I can wear this on the smallest/tightest setting. If you are really small like a size zero, I’m afraid even this size small may be too big.

The cups have underwire and are lightly padded. The underwire tends to drift away from where it should be if I don’t have the straps adjusted correctly so this is probably best suited for a B cup.

This is so comfortable. I highly recommend it. It’s really pretty, and others will just love it and how it looks on you. The material feels sturdy but it should only be hand washed and hung dry so it doesn’t get snagged and ripped. It doesn’t come with hanging straps but you can just use the shoulder straps. You also should not bleach or iron it. I keep this stored in a drawer with all my other lingerie pieces and I haven’t noticed any wrinkling.
