Stay up backseam fishnet stockings - stockings discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Jul!a

So this is what I was hoping for with the other stockings I purchased from here, and what I've gotten with some other Leg Avenue stockings I've purchased at brick and mortar stores: the gel band around the inside of the lace top!

So I'll start with the packaging. It looked just like every other set of stockings I've bought: plastic bag, cardboard insert, so on and so forth.

Material/Care: These fishnets are made from a mixture of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex. Leg Avenue says that you should hand wash these separately and drip dry. Don't bleach. I have a pair similar to these in black with the same gel band and I've successfully run them through my regular wash, but do so at your own expense.

Design: There's nothing too fancy to the general design of these stockings. They're a white fishnet with a lace top. The lace top measures about 3" tall. However inside of the lace top is what seems to be a gel-like material that is there to make sure that these sexy stockings actually stay up on your legs. These also come in black and red.

Craftsmanship: I felt that these were made very well. I had no bunching of any kind and these were worn for 8 hours in a row. The toe of these is also about as close to being reinforced as you can get without having the toe be solid. This means that as the netting gets closer to your toe it gets woven smaller and smaller. This keeps your toes from poking through the fishnet.

Sizing: The sizing on the packaging says "one size fits most" with a "guide" of 90-160 pounds. I weigh about 105 and where I had the tops of these sitting is about 19.5" around. While wearing them they didn't dig into my thighs at all, but if you looked carefully, you could see that they were a bit tight, resulting in a very slight 'muffin-topping' of my thighs. But my fiance never noticed, so I call it a wash since I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I also got them to stretch to about 8 1/2" across while being laid flat.

Storage: Personally I keep mine in a Ziploc baggy to keep them separate from the rest of my stockings, but you can keep them wherever you keep the rest of your naughty underthings.

These went even better than my last experience! They stayed up and they were comfortable with no readjusting!

I put them on initially around 3 one afternoon and they didn't come off until close to 11:30, and while I could tell that they were there, I experience absolutely no discomfort whatsoever. Big win for me. And I will never understand how it is that white fishnets always seem to accentuate any kind of muscle definition one might have going on in the leg area, but I have to say I was really impressed, and my fiance couldn't quite seem to find the words for it.

The only thing I didn't like is no fault of the product itself, these stockings are white and I wore them around with no shoes on. So, the feet of these are now a wee bit dirty. But I know I can't complain because you know what, they're white, and I was the idiot that wore them around without shoes on.

I'll definitely be adding at least the black ones to my collection since these I won't poke my toes through while wearing them.

I still love these! If you don't walk around in them without shoes very often, the white ones won't get very dirty at all, but if you wash them like you wash white socks, only on a more gentle cycle, then let them drip dry, they still come out nice. I don't know what it is about white fishnets, but they definitely accentuate every sexy curve of a leg, and I'll never part with these.
