Wetlook dress with molded cups - mini dress discontinued by Coquette - review by Pete's Princess

Do you want to be a cross between 50's sex goddess Rita Heyworth and a dominatrix? Well this dress will get you there. It can be worn out as a sexy and elegant evening dress. You can also wear this to your dungeon for whipping those slaves into submission.

It is very comfortable and hugs all your curves. This is a wonderful dress to show off your cleavage and cover your legs. I am 5' 5" and found the dress quite long coming down to below my knees. This looks quite good and the length is a nice balance to all that is revealed in the upper portion of the dress. I have always been a bit self-conscious about my legs so this worked perfectly. Add some black 4" heels and you are ready to go.

Design
The dress has two straps. In the front is a patent leather looking section that has a silver metal buckle. The buckle cannot be adjusted and is merely for show. Connected to that portion is the standard adjustable bra strap with metal connectors.

The cups have underwires and are well padded. The bottom half has twice the padding as the upper portion.

The rest of the dress is made from a semi-shiny black material. The back has a seven sets of grommets. A 3/8" satin ribbon is laced through them. You can tighten the ribbon for a snug fit. At the bottom back of the dress has a slit in the middle.

Material and Care
80% Nylon and 20% Spandex exclusive of trim. Hand wash cold and hang to dry. Do not put in dryer, iron or bleach this dress. Nylon will melt at high heats so be careful in how you launder it.

Packaging
The dress comes in a clear plastic bag. It arrives on a clear hanger with Coquette in silver letters on it. There is a hang tag attached to the dress by a safety pin. The tag features the model wearing the dress on the front and on the inside is the model from both the front and rear views.

The dress is super sexy. Even if you are not a Domme it makes you want to pull out the crop and find a slave to lick your shoes. It is very sexy and can be worn out to a club or party. My husband was out of town when I ordered this. He was a bit unsure about it when I described it to him on the phone. It is a departure from the more feminine dresses and lingerie that I wear. He was pleasantly surprised how good it looked. It was a good time to put the more dominant side of my personality out. Although, I am generally more submissive, switching from time to time is quite enjoyable.

The dress is very comfortable and easy to wear. I had read some other reviews and it was noted that the cups could be a bit small. I wanted to have the option of wearing this out, so I decided to upsize and go for the XL. The cups fit well. The rest is a bit big but still looks good.

One issue I had with the dress was that the band under the cups was way too loose. This made the underwires stick out from my body a bit. First, I tried to make the top tighter by pulling the lace in the back tighter. I found that it was hard to adjust the top of the dress the way it was laced. To solve this, I took out the lace and re-laced it so that it tied at the bottom instead of the top. Doing this helped to get the dress tighter at the top. When I have a pit of time, I will take it in. That should be easy since there are seams down both sides.

The quality of the dress was not as good as most of my other Coquette items. There were many loose threads and the slit in the back of the dress was not finished off very well. It does not look like it will come apart just a lack of attention to detail.
