Squeezed me where I didn't want it, but not where I did!

The Stretch Lace Corset is very pretty, but it didn't flatter my body at all. It somehow manages to squish my breasts without giving any shaping to my hips or waist. I think it will work best for those with more petite, straight figures. Even if you do have the perfect body type to look great in this, it still wouldn't be one of my top lingerie recommendations, due to the uncomfortable loops where the shoulder straps attach. I also think it is a bit pricey for what you are getting.

Material:
As the name states, the corset is made from stretchy lace. It's hot pink, and is the same lace used on the Lace and Mesh Babydoll. The lace is lined with a soft, black fabric that is comfortable against the skin. The material is 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The corset is trimmed with black lace, pink satin ribbon, and black mesh ruffles.

Design:
The Stretch Lace Corset is very similar in style to both the Lace Taffeta Corset and the Polka Dot Mesh Corset, both of which I also own.
The cups are soft and have no underwire or padding. They won't provide much shaping or lifting, and fit smaller than the other Coquette items I own. The top of the cups are edged with a row of black ruffles, but they don't continue around to the back.

The corset has 11 pieces of plastic boning: 5 in the middle, and 3 on each side. There is also a band of elastic sewn inside the corset at waist level, that is meant to suck in the waist. Unfortunately, I didn't get any cinching from this corset, due to the stretchy material.

The corset fastens with a hook and eye closure down the back. There are 2 rows of hooks, which allows for some slight adjustability.

The bottom has several rows of ruffles, and these do extend around the back and sides of the corset. The corset is 25 inches long from the top of the bust to the bottom of the ruffles. I wish it had been an inch or 2 longer, because I found it had a shortening effect on my torso.

There are 3 bows; 1 in the center of the chest, and 2 at the bottom on either side. According to older reviews, the bows used to be sewn on. Now they are detachable and have safety pins glued to the back. It's not the classiest way of attaching them, but it isn't noticeable once they're on. I didn't like the bows at all, and took them off right away. I'm glad I didn't have to cut them off, like I did with my Polka Dot Corset.

The corset also comes with detachable, adjustable shoulder straps and garters. The garters have metal and silicone closures that are hidden with a satin ribbon. They can be adjusted from 6 to 10 inches, unstretched. The shoulder straps are just like normal bra straps. They can be lengthened from 19 to 26 inches.

The loops where the shoulder straps attach is made from a very stiff fabric, which is annoying and uncomfortable against the skin. You can see one of the loops I'm talking about in the third picture below, where the top of the ruffle is folded down, exposing it.

Fit:

I wear a full 34 B. I have a 36 inch bust and a 28 inch waist. My high hip measurement (on the hip bones, where panties sit) is 35 inches, and my hip measurement (around the widest part) is 38 inches. I ordered this corset in a size Small, which is supposed to fit a B cup with a 34-36 inch bust, 26-28 inch waist, and 36-38 inch hips.
I am on the large end of the size range, and I was able to wear the corset on the smaller setting due to the stretchy material, but I would not have wanted it to be any tighter.

I was really not impressed with the fit of this corset. I found it made my waist and hips look bigger while flattening my breasts.

The cups fit more snugly than my other Coquette corsets do. They would be better suited to an A or small B cup.

When my breasts are placed in the cups, they are flattened out, and in line with my stomach. This is both unflattering and uncomfortable. If I pull them up a bit so that they don't feel squished and I can get some cleavage, the edge of the ruffle rolls down, the top edge of the corset digs into me, and my breasts look like they are exploding out.

Packaging:

The corset arrived inside a plastic bag, wrapped in pink tissue paper. A hanger was not included. There was a cardboard tag attached with pictures of the model wearing it, and care instructions. The garters and shoulder straps were in small ziploc bags.

Cleaning:

The corset should be hand washed and air dried.
