Wetlook pants with zipper - pants discontinued by Coquette - review by hybridinsurge

*Manufacturer*
Coquette manufactures these pants as part of their Darque collection. This is my first Coquette product.

*Included pieces and available options*
The pants are the only element of this product. The pants come in black and, currently, only the medium and large sizes are available through EF.

*Material*
The pants are eighty percent nylon and twenty percent spandex. The material is very soft and stretchy. The ‘wetlook’ material has a shine to it. It has a similar look to a leather or a pleather from a distance but it is nowhere near as stiff or thick as these materials would be. The material is somewhat noisy to walk in. It rustles while it moves and rubs together.

The pants are surprisingly comfortable. The material is thin and breathable but not see-through. You could definitely wear these pants in public. However, I would suggest wearing them with a low rise g-string or without panties because the material is so clingy. The material is more breathable than I expected but these pants would not be good for a hot day, especially with the color.

*Design and craftsmanship*
These pants are super sexy. They are tight, black and have a zipper along the entire crotch. What more could you want? The pants are very tight and taper at the ankle. In my opinion, they are more like leggings than pants.

These pants are well crafted. I have not noticed any tears or loose threads and I am confident the pants will hold up to occasional wear. The seams are not too thick or noticeable. They run down the inside and outside of the leg and another seam goes around the hips, just under the belt loops.

Which reminds me, belt loops… I love that! They are made of wetlook material doubled over so they are sturdy. The belt loops are well secured to the pants. I like that I can wear a belt with these pants. It is not necessary to keep the pants up but it could keep the waist from gaping and displaying my butt for all to see.

The zipper is another selling point. The zipper is silver, as is the ring-shaped zipper pull. When unzipped entirely, it allows for access to the entire vulva and most of the bottom. My S.O. was beyond pleased with this feature!
Coquette was kind enough to include a cloth strip separating your delicate areas from the zipper. You do not feel the zipper at all when wearing these pants, even while sitting, and there is very little risk of catching hairs or skin in the zipper. This was one concern I had when ordering these so I am glad for Coquette’s craftiness.
A teeny, tiny bit of the zipper does not close up properly. This is not enough to allow the pants to fall down and most people probably will not notice it.

*Sizing*
These pants fit true to size so do not worry about ordering a size up or down from your usual. I ordered a medium. My measurements are: Waist 29”, Hips 38”, Height 5’2”, Weight 133 lbs.

The pants are a lower rise than I expected. They fall about three inches from my navel and about three inches from the top of my crack in the back. The waistline rests much lower in the front than it does in the back and sides. The pants are just the right length, reaching all the way over my ankles.

The pants are very tight and taper at the bottom. They fit extremely close to the body. Because the material is soft and stretchy, the tightness is not uncomfortable.

*Cleaning*
The cleaning instructions for this product are standard for lingerie or fetish wear. Hand wash only and hang to dry. Because of the wetlook material, a small spill or something could probably be wiped off with a damp cloth.

*Packaging*
This item came in a clear plastic bag with hanger. A Coquette product tag was attached through the zipper. It listed cleaning instructions and product information.

Though these pants are tighter and more revealing than I expected, I am still very happy with them. I can wear them in the bedroom and out. The zipper is very convenient since I go commando with these pants.

My boyfriend has always wanted to see me in leather pants. This is a much cheaper, more comfortable option. I am looking forward to trying other Coquette wetlook products.

When purchasing these pants, I used some store credit. I am not sure I would have been willing to pay full price in cash for them.

The leggings are still very popular with the BF and I love them. I have not noticed any wear yet, which is a good sign.
