If you love anal play, you need this accessory set. That's all there is to it.

How often have you looked at a toy and thought, "Damn, I'd love to put that toy in my ass, but it wouldn't be safe." If you aren't into anal play? Probably not that often. But if you love anal play, this set of vibrator enhancers will greatly expand your pool of available butt toys. Also, some companies make a range of vibe for vaginal or anal play whose only difference is that the anal version has some kind of lip around it to prevent accidental loss where the sun don't shine. We can't afford to buy two versions of each toy of this type and these rings get around that problem.

Emergency room doctors and nurses have loads of horror stories about things they have extracted from patients who didn't practice anal safety. You can safely insert items into your anus as long as there is a flange to prevent it from slipping beyond reach, resulting in red faces at the emergency room and you being the subject of water cooler gossip for some time to come.

These rings are 100% silicone and therefore odourless and tasteless. The texture is smooth to the touch. It is not without friction, and it can take some effort to get it over some toys. That being said, it is probably no more effort than putting a condom on. Best of all, being silicone means they're really easy to keep clean.

This toy is easy to hide, although except for cleaning purposes, it may spend its entire life fitted to a vibe or dildo. It is a thick oval of silicone with a circle cut in the middle to accommodate a vibrator or dildo.

The small ring's opening is 0.5" in diameter (1.4 cm). We don't actually seem to have any toys this narrow, so I doubt it'll see much use.

The medium fits perfectly on the Lelo Liv. Its opening is 0.75" (2cm) in diameter.

The large has an opening of 1.25" (3 cm).

For all three rings, the outer dimensions are 2.5" (6.5 cm) by 1.75" (4.5 cm). Unfortunately, anal "size queens" will have to wait and hope that Evolved makes a set of XL and above. There is a small amount of stretchiness - perhaps a quarter of an inch.

The packaging makes two main claims claims for the vibrator enhancers. The first is that they are 'pleasure enhancers'. We disagree, sort of. For us at least, the rings didn't add any stimulation of their own - they don't seem to transmit the vibrations very well. They did add to the intellectual stimulation because they make it possible stop worrying bout losing a toy in your butt and have at it! This is very liberating.

The second is that they turn any toy into an anal toy or enhance external stimulation. The first is true, the second - see above.

These rings, being 100% silicone, are really easy to keep clean. This is very important if, like us, you both love anal lay and share your toys. It is important to do a small patch test if you're using silicone lube (as many of us do for anal play) - as some lubes react with silicone and make a sticky mess.

Storage is easy - ours are permanently fitted to our favourite anal toys and only come off for cleaning.

This is one of those "Why hasn't someone thought of this before?!" ideas. We can't afford to buy both anal and vaginal use versions of our favourite toys. I have on occasion wrapped a stretchy cock ring around a toy's base to use it for anal play, but this works much better and feels safer. This is one case where silicone's friction works in its favour - once I get it in place, it doesn't budge. We can (and have) acquired the vaginal version of a toy, then slipped a ring over it for anal use. In this way, the Lelo Liv can get a sex change and become a Lelo Billy with very little effort.

I think we already mentioned how liberating it is to not worry about losing a toy in your butt, right? We've found that to also be true with the G spot toys. Some users like to thrust against the G spot. We tried adding a ring to one of these toys and it made it possible to exactly adjust the penetration depth to ensure best G spot contact. The first time we did that can best be summarised as 'memorable'.

My husband thinks this toy should only get four stars, because of its claim to be a 'pleasure enhancer'. I felt that the toy shouldn't be penalized for silly marketing wording. Since we can't give a 4 and a half star rating, we resolved the argument with a naked game of rock paper scissors. I won, so it gets 5 stars.
