California Exotic's Couture Collection Transcend Flexing Massager is a small but powerful massager that can be used both sexually or as an overall body massager. With its 5 speeds and 10 functions, there is bound to be a setting that is perfect for each person. It can be used alone for solo play or with a partner. It is perfect for gentle all over the body massaging and for external stimulation. It's not designed for internal use and should not be inserted anally.

The massager is made from silicone and is made from food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, phthalates free, and carries a rating of 10 on Eden's safety scale which is the highest rating available. The entire toy is covered in a soft purple coat with a lighter shade of lavender above and below the flexible area. There is one small silver band at the begin of the handle.



The massager is 7 inches in length. The top of it has multiple grooves that add to the texture. The circumference is 4 1/4 inches. The cap on the top is removable and when removed, there is a smooth head instead of the grooved cap. The neck flexes easily enough and allows for some pressure to be applied.

The handle makes up for most of the massager and at the bottom is the control panel. To get the control panel to work, you must twist it one and 4-AA batteries need to be inserted. Once the batteries are inserted, the bottom needs to be securely closed.



There are 5 speeds with 10 functions. The control panel has four raised buttons and lights up when in use. The buttons can be used to change the speed and/or the vibration pattern.

There are a variety of patterns that can be chosen but does not include a steady vibration sensation. The information provided regarding this massager indicates it is waterproof. However, when I tried it out in the shower, and opened the battery compartment afterwards, there was water in the compartment. I dried it out and even used a hair dryer to dry it. My fear was it wouldn't work afterwards but it did. I would say this is splash proof but not 100% waterproof.

Care and cleaning are easy. It is best to use water based lubes with this and afterwards, it can be cleaned with warm water and soap, a toy cleaner, or a antibacterial wipe. It is safe to get water on it as long as it's not immersed in the water. I have a toothbrush that I use solely for cleaning toys and have used it to clean the grooves at the head and at the flex area. It should be stored without the batteries in it. It shouldn't be stored with other silicone toys or lubes.

The massager arrived in a clear plastic box that clearly shows the massager. The box includes a description on the front and instructions on the back.



It can be stored in the box as it is only slightly bigger than the massager. Inside the box is a form fitting plastic tray that the massager can rest in when not in use. Due to it's small size, it is travel friendly and can be carried in a purse or a carry on bag.

After a day of driving 8 hours in a drizzle and traffic, I was exhausted when I got home. Hubby took this massager out to give it a test run. Initially I didn't think it was big enough to handle my tense shoulders and back. Once he started massaging my shoulders, I was quickly convinced that it was much stronger than it appeared. After a too short back massage, he went to other areas and the massager felt good on my clit. It was great for a warm up and when I took it and massaged his scrotum, he also enjoyed the vibrations as well.

I do still like this massager but it isn't my favorite one. It doesn't have quite enough power to relax my muscles most of the time but works wonderful as a starter massager. It is easy to travel with which is a big plus. My favorite massager is too big and bulky to take with me but this one works perfectly. It's not been to hard on batteries either.
