Eager beaver - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Pipedream - review by erppie

The eager beaver was my first vibrator and still remains my go-to. Over the years I have consistently looked for a replacement but other vibrators always fall short. The beaver is not the best-made toy or even the sturdiest, but it never fails to get you where you need to be.

The beaver is about 9 inches in total with an insertable length of about 4 inches. The shaft is intricately designed and sports a happy little face at the tip. The design is not particularly aesthetically pleasing... The clitoral stimulator is in the shape of a beaver and the head of the beaver feels great against the clit.

There are two speeds to choose from for both the shaft and the clit stimulator. Strangely enough, the high speed option does not differ greatly from the low speed and only creates more noise.

The clit stimulator on the beaver is the strongest on all the rabbit vibrators i've tried. The beaver size is preferable as all the vibrations are directed at the tip. It can be too strong when directly placed over the clit and I often find myself adjusting it to rest it a little off to the side.

The rotating shaft was a useless function for me. Although it is pretty bendable, the rotations were awkward and a bit unpleasant. It also contributed to a lot of noise as it made a whirring mechanical noise.

The noise level of the beaver is on the loud side. If some pressure is applied to the beaver, the noise subsides but can sound like a very loud electric shaver.

The toy is unfortunately a bit hard to clean because of the etchings all over the shaft. It's not really a rinse and ready toy and thorough attention needs to be paid to keeping it clean. The jelly material also makes it a huge lint magnet.

Due to its cheap quality and jelly material, I have been on a quest to find a better replacement. I have yet to find one and even after 5 years, the eager beaver has proven to be a very trusted companion.
