Bursting with Inspiration

The Inspire is by far the strongest vibrator I own. I don't use it on a regular basis due to the noise level, but I love having it around for those occasions when nothing else seems to do the trick. I highly recommend the Inspire to anyone who is looking for extremely powerful vibrations.

Use

The Inspire is an extremely strong, electric-powered wand massager. It is by far the strongest vibrator I have ever used. In fact, it's the only toy that's ever been too strong for me when used on high. It is perfect for intense clitoral stimulation, and can also be used for full body massages. It is relatively small, which makes it easier to manoeuvre and more suitable for use during partner sex than large wands. The head has a silicone cover that can be removed for sterilization, so this toy could be shared.

Material / Texture

The body of the Inspire is made from PU coated plastic, which has a velvety texture, and is easy to grip. The upper portion of the head (which comes in contact with the body) is covered by a removable, silicone cap. It has a smooth, matte surface, and no smell or taste. It is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and pthalates free.

Design / Shape / Size

The Inspire is quite small for the amount of power it packs, coming in at 7 1/2 inches long. The handle is cone shaped, slightly curved, and very comfortable to hold. The button is placed where my thumb can easily reach it while holding the toy. The head is 1 1/2 inches wide, which I found to be ideal. It fits nicely between my labia, isn't overly pinpoint, but doesn't cover my entire vulva or interfere with penetration. There is a flexible neck which allows the head to bend up to a 45 degree angle.

The AC cord is 8 feet long, which should be plenty for most people. It can be unplugged from the base of the toy, so you don't need to worry about that part of the cord wearing out. A small red light glows while the toy is plugged in.

The design is fairly attractive, especially when compared to some of the more industrial looking massagers on the market.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Inspire is controlled by a single button, which is very easy to use. Pressing the button turns it onto the lowest setting, which is very rumbly, moderately strong, and semi-quiet. Continuing to hold the button will gradually increase the power and the pitch of the vibrations.

After approximately 10 seconds it will reach it's maximum speed which is ridiculously strong, and very loud. When I use the Inspire on it's highest level it leaves me sore for several days, and once it even caused a tiny but painful tear in my clitoral hood.

I love strong vibrations, and I usually use the Inspire at half strength, which I would rate as 5 vrooms and 3 bees. It's equal in intensity to the second strongest toy I own (the Mystic Wand) in about 2 seconds, or 1/5th of the full power.

The vibrations can quickly be shut off by pressing the button again. The only negative thing about the controls is that there is no way to lower the power. You have to turn it off first, then increase the power until you reach your desired level.

The instructions warn not to use the Inspire for more than 20 minutes because it can overheat. I have gone over that limit and it did become hot, but not enough that it seemed dangerous, or damaged the toy in any way. Use your common sense, obviously.

Care and Maintenance

The silicone cap can be removed, and washed with soap and water. You can also sterilize it by boiling for 3 minutes, wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution, or running it through your dishwasher on the top rack with no soap.

The Inspire isn't waterproof, so it can't be washed under running water. I wipe down the body of the toy with a toy cleaning wipe or a damp cloth.

Water based lube is recommended, since silicone lube could break down the silicone on the toy.

Packaging

The Inspire comes packaged in a white, cardboard box with a liftoff lid. The box could be used for storage, but it is a little flimsy and probably wouldn't stand up to long-term use. The front has a picture of the toy, with a background of splashing water. It comes with a small sheet of instructions and warnings.
Follow-up commentary
I've owned the Inspire for over a year now. It shows no signs of wear, or of the mtor burning out, so I expect it will last for years. It's definitely not my go-to toy, but more like a fallback; when nothing else will do it, the Inspire always gets the job done.

Another one I'd like to try! I like strong vibrations too - so I wonder how I'd like this one.
