Wow. Just wow. I was excited when I got the email from Victoria asking for my address because I won this. Thank you Alan! I honestly didn't even know that I won, or what I had won. And then further, I didn't know what I had really gotten. What I got was the biggest vibrating punch ever to be confined to such a small housing of plastic and silicone. The Inspire should have a different name. Honestly. Inspiration is something that starts or sparks another thing. This doesn't just start or spark and orgasm, it grabs hold and throws it as far as it will go.

This can be used for all over body massages and arousal but it best if used clitorally. It has a Hitachi style wand and head but in a miniature version. Don't be fooled by the small size though! I swear this puppy has more power than my Ideal massager which is equivalent to the Hitachi. It can even have small head attachments too. I didn't buy any for this because I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I'm totally in the market for some now. I am never going to let this toy collect any dust! It's just too good to put down for long. I recommend it to all women and even men too. It is also great for couple play.

The majority of the Inspire from Cal Exotics is a plastic housing made of pretty lavender PU coated plastic. This matte plastic is essentially ABS certified phthalates free plastic with a PU coat. Three very important additional parts of the wand are made of a firm velvety silicone. They are the cap for the oscillating head, the ribbing tube that allows for neck flexing, and the button on the shaft for power. The silicone is non-porous and hypo-allergenic. Neither material has any smell.

When I look at the top pictures on Eden I totally thought this would be as large or similar to the Hitachi. But little did I know that this is well...little. It is a mere 7 1/2" long-exactly the length of my hand from middle finger tip to the bottom of my hand. The wand itself is 5 1/2" long and is shaped like a tall skinny slightly curved ice cream cone. On top of the ice cream cone is a short piece of flexible area and then there is the head. The head is about the size of a gold ball. It is perfect for tight curves and areas to pin point the vibration. There is a single button towards the top of the shaft for controlling the vibration. At the end of the shaft is where the AC cord plugs into for power and operation.

The Inspire is an excellent travel companion. It is small and compact and not terribly heavy. I wish this came with a traveling case, but alas it doesn't. Just throw it in a small carry bag. It is somewhat discreet because of the size, soft colors, and the fact that it isn't distinctly phallic shaped.

To use the Inspire you first plug it into the wall and then attach the wand to the power source. A little red indicator light will shine to show it is correctly attached to power. Let the party start! I recommend laying down because the orgasms you will have will be earth shattering, mind blowing, all the hoopla you wish you had in a toy but have previously only read on too good to be true labels and packaging. Are you ready? I wasn't!

Press the button down and it will accelerate from the starting moderate vibration and continue increasing until you release the button. If you let go you need to either press it once to turn it off and start again or hold it again to stop on an even higher level. While this might seem like a bummer, it likely saves the motor.

So how high can we go? I swear I felt like it accelerated in vibration intensity for like an eternity. The lowest level is even good for warm up and I only have to hold down the button for about a second or two before it is on a level that could finish me clitorally. About half way is a very high level that is typical for most high end vibrators and also produced amazing orgasms. I thought it ended there! Nope...I had the other half to go. About 3/4th of the way up the levels is a VERY intense level that I need to start putting over my clothes in order to bear. I actually can finish on the highest level, over my clothes, in 15 seconds! Without clothes however, it hurts.

No WONDER this plugs into the wall. That is the only way you would be able to get this much power! What is really amazing is that it is probably as powerful as The Cone but in a much more concentrated way so in many aspects it is even more powerful. On the highest level I can only feel the vibration about a third of the way down my legs while the Cone would numb my entire legs. With this you can really pin point the pleasure as you explore your body. It felt amazing on nipples and my partners jewels as long as I didn't go too high on the vibration. The only down side is the Inspire is loud. It has a loud buzz that can be heard from the start.

The clean use a damp cloth and toy spray to make sure it doesn't get wet because it is not waterproof. I only needed spit, but if you want to use lubricant, make sure it is water based because the silicone based lubricant will break down the silicone materials irreversibly. Store back in the box after you are sure it is dry. You don't want moisture to harbor inside the cardboard package.

The package isn't anything special, but it isn't graphic and it isn't ridiculously larger than the toy itself. It is a rectangular white cardboard box that open from the top by sliding off the cover. Inside in the Inspire laid down and below it is the AC power cord. There is a small instruction and care sheet in there that included pretty much everything I needed to know. The outside has pictures of the toy.

I am so glad I won this because I don't think I ever would have bought it. I overlooked it thinking it was too close to my other massager, but this is a horse of a totally different color! I was really pleased with this Cal Exotic product and was quite impressed actually. I recommend it to anyone male or female and especially for couples. It felt great and the range of vibrations will have something for ever sensitivity level. Get Inspired!
