Dilate Away!

The Dilator set is designed to help women accommodate larger items in their vaginas. With the various sized covers, it would definitely work very well at this. Since I'm used to larger items, it worked best for me on the largest size, with all of the covers on. It also comes with a textured sleeve, which was not my favorite part, but others may enjoy. The sleeve is made of a jelly material, which is a turn-off for me.

This toy can easily be used for either vaginal or anal stimulation, as it has a nice, easy to grip handle on it. It's a vibe that would work wonderfully for a beginner, and also has the ability to help get used to progressively larger items. It could be a lot of fun to use with a partner, to get you ready for more.

The Dilator set is made of plastic, so it's non-porous. The silicone sleeve is textured with nubs all around, but otherwise it is a nice smooth toy. There is no smell or taste that I could detect. I would recommend this toy for anyone, beginner to advanced user. The smooth texture is really quite nice.

Since I'm fairly sexually experienced, I didn't need to use the toy for its main purpose, work on the pelvic floor and dilation. When the largest sleeve is on, the toy is 7 1/2 inches in length, with 3 1/2 insertable. The rest of them are smaller, and all range in girth. The largest size reminds me of another toy I reviewed previously, Colt the Prowler. I would not say that this toy is easy to hide, although if it were a different color, I would say it looked like a cop nightstick when all of the sleeves are on.

The Dilator has an interesting interlocking design for the sleeves, meaning that as you add new sleeves, the ones underneath stay in place and don't cause strange shaking, which I was half expecting. The vibrations in it are strong, without being too strong. There is a dial at the end of the handle which adjusts the speed of vibration. I think the vibration can make the clinical use of this item more pleasurable. As sleeves are added, the vibrations feel slightly weaker, but are still strong enough to produce orgasm. The toy also become a bit quieter with each sleeve you add to it. It's not terribly quiet, but it's also not overly loud. It would probably not be heard through a bedroom door.

Since this toy is made from plastic, it's quite easy to take care of. It's compatible with any type of lubricant, and can be stored with any other toys. It can easily be cleaned with your favorite toy cleaner or simply soap and warm water.

The only difficulty I found while cleaning this toy was the interlocking chambers. It's easy for debris to get stuck inside of them, and it can be difficult to clean them out. The toy is not waterproof, so avoiding immersion in water is key.

The one disappointment I had when I received this toy was the fact that the description states that it comes with a carrying pouch, but there wasn't one included when I received the toy.
