Sold a "Novelty only" and with vibrations that can range from mild to strong with a twist dial, this vibe actually works best for massage or external stimulation. When turned all the way on, I found that the vibrations would travel from my hand all the way to my elbow! It's strong enough to feel in your bones when rubbed over skin!

This vibrator is appropriate for those that prefer strong vibration. Although it can be used for internal stimulation and thrusting, it's inflexible, lacks texture and not specifically designed for either G-spot or anal use.

It just LOOKS so cool! There isn't anything else like it. Just like fans of Ed Hardy wanted a tattoo done by one of the old Masters, sometimes you want something because it looks cool! The design itself is part of the vibrator, not a decal effect. I'm not sure how they made it, but it appears to be under a solid layer of plastic. It won't scratch off.

This Inked Vibe by California Exotic is one of a line of Ed Hardy tattoo designs that have been incorporated onto a series of vibrators. The vibe itself is made of hard plastic and has a waterproof seal allowing this particular vibe to be used in the shower, tub, or even hot tub! This particular design has a skull, snake and two roses. The design is well designed color elements. It does not have the subtle shading that you can get with a tattoo.

It's a rigid, hard plastic vibe. It's probably not going to hit your G-spot, and it's not suitable for anal play because it lacks a flared base. It runs with 2 C batteries. That means it has strong vibrations and about the subtlety of a Chopper!

Use your imagination though. How often can you have some fun with a snake and skull? Or pretend you're with a biker?

Powered by two C batteries, this vibe is waterproof and multi-speed. The speed is controlled by a twist knob in the base. It's just like a standard volume control knob. On and power up!

I'm always a skeptic of waterproof vibration so I brought it into the shower. It does in fact appear to be waterproof despite resting submerged for awhile. The interior of the vibe contains a cardboard tube that shows the battery direction. This doesn't "look" as if it's permanently attached, but apparently belongs. This lining makes the battery compartment extremely snug. The first battery appeared as if it was never going to be removed. After use and a bath, the batteries fell out easily. This could be due to the vibration of the unit or a few drops of water acting as lubrication that I did not detect.

There is no way to change the vibration pattern, only the intensity.

According to Eden's website this vibe is phthalates-free and made of plastic. It can be submerged, so it's easy to wash with soap and water and hard plastic isn't very porous. However, you can't sterilize it, so no sharing with out condoms. (Not safe for anal use either!) The labeling just says "wash."

I wouldn't recommend a dishwasher though, not with a battery compartment!

Although a beautiful vibe, it's made to be sold in stores and does not come with environmentally friendly packaging. There was a plastic box, with a plastic insert to prominently display the vibe. As for instructions, those rate right up there with "worthless." The instructions with mine were about how to insert batteries and what to do when the product doesn't turn on due to incorrect insertion of said batteries. California Exotic must use the same instructions for all vibrators because they didn't even have a vibrator model that included two C batteries shown!

Some people may enjoy the hard and fast stimulation that this toy offers. It will take you for a hard and fast ride if you let it. However, it's not gentle. It's unique appearance and fantasy aspect are it's strongest points. I don't recommend this as your first vibrator - you may never get another, but if you've never experienced an old fashioned powerful and simple ride this one is just fun.
