The Classic Chic Vibe was my first ever sex toy. I walked into a sex shop, looked around awkwardly, and just bought the cheapest one that didn't look like a penis.

Little did I know that awkward me had such great taste! After 2 1/2 years, the Classic Chic is still my favorite toy. I use it externally and internally, though I prefer to use it just as a clitoral vibrator. It does feel nice when inserted but the straightness of it means that it doesn't really stimulate my g-spot. The 6 inches of insertable length has spoiled me a little bit...I find that it fills me up nicely, while the other toys I have just feel too small. It is waterproof, though I haven't used it in the shower/bath. Please don't use this anally - it doesn't have a flared base, so it can get lost in your butt.

The seven vibration patterns have some great variety. There is a standard buzz, a pulse, and 5 other combinations of buzzing and pulsing, all at varying intensities. The only downside to this variety is that you can't go back and forth between them - you have to cycle all the way through. Likewise, when you turn it off, you cycle through all the vibration modes and the final mode is off. It is reasonably quiet. It could be heard just across a room and not at all with the door shut. It takes two AA batteries and these tend to hold their charge for a while. I've only rarely had it run out of oomph in the middle of use and you usually get some indication that it's going to happen (reduced intensity). Change the batteries before you get into it or you'll be sad. Batteries usually last anywhere between 5-lots of sessions, depending on how long I go for.

The texture is smooth and velvety and while the texture doesn't provide any additional stimulation, when coated in lube it's extremely easy to insert. It's also easy to clean; it's waterproof, so running water and mild soap work well. You could use a spray-on cleaner as well.
