Form 6 - g-spot vibrator by Jimmyjane - review by Nyx (Under the Covers)

The Form 6 is a beautiful toy. The slate color is a gorgeous, dusky black (with blueish-grey undertones) and the lines of the vibe are really gorgeous. It has two potentially insertable ends (as a function of its ingenious charging contact band), although only the smaller one really worked for me. It is also ideally shaped to put one end against your clit and have the other nestled between your labia for really intense all-over sensation. You can set one or both of the ends to vibrate, so there is a lot of vibration potential.

The best use for this vibrator would be to stimulate the g-spot or the clit. I love it for its clitoral and all-over stimulation more than its g-spot stimulation, but you can probably use the Form 6 against any part of your body -- nipples, clit, g-spot, shoulders. Given that one end is larger than another, you could potentially use the smaller end for anal play, as long as you don't insert past the narrowest point on the vibe. Although I've only used the Form 6 solo, I could see it working well for partner play as well. Form 6's price tag may make it not the most beginner-friendly of toys, but its smaller end is less daunting than the larger end for insertion, so it could be a good toy for just about anyone.

The Form 6 is made with super-velvety silicone, which has virtually no scent. The velvety texture definitely adds extra sensation, especially if you are drawing it over your nipples or stroking it along your skin. It is non-porous and feels really good to the touch.

Given Form 6's dual-insertion ends, the Form 6 is covered all over in this amazing velvety material and is quite firm, which makes it great for massaging into muscles as well for naughtier purposes.

The design of the Form 6 is really quite innovative, given that you can use either end of the vibe as the action end. The shape is pretty great, although the asymmetric end sizes can lead to the vibe unexpectedly slipping away from you if you're going hands-free. I personally wish the larger end was just a little smaller OR that the smaller end was longer, since I feel like the asymmetry makes it easier for the vibe to shift out of position. I feel like the shape might work better for people who are bigger on hand-holding the vibe.

This is definitely one of the pricier vibes out there, but I do feel that they did lot on the design end to justify the higher price tag. A lot of thought and engineering obviously went into this.

As to whether or not this toy is discreet, I guess you could pass it off as a shoulder massager. The amazing little charging case could definitely sit innocuously on your bedside table, but the informed viewer would likely infer that it is a vibrator from seeing the Form 6 itself. Based on this, it may not be the most travel-friendly of devices if you are concerned about someone figuring out you've got a sex toy.

Finally, with regard to size: the small end could definitely make this vibe more beginner-friendly, but the larger end might intimidate a beginner when it comes to girth. However, given its versatility, it could work for anyone.

The functions and controls are where we get to my issues with the Form 6. In my mind, the absolute worst thing about the Form 6 is the travel timer, which is supposed to shut the vibe off to prevent you from accidentally depleting the battery while it is in your luggage. Unfortunately, the timer is WAY TOO SHORT. Basically, the Form 6 nearly always shuts off just as I'm getting to the good part.

The second issue I have with the Form 6 wouldn't be a problem for me (in fact it might be a plus) if it weren't for the auto shut-off of the travel timer. The controls are very difficult to access and to press while the vibe is in use. I almost always have to pull it out, look at it and press quite hard and determinedly against the controls to get them to do what I want. This process is decidedly unsexy and can really interrupt a good session (if the vibe were easier to re-start, the interruption due to the travel timer wouldn't be as great). If it weren't for the travel timer, the fact that the control buttons are difficult to trigger could actually be great if you like fixed settings -- you could get the vibe going and not have to worry about accidentally changing the settings. However, given the automatic shut off with the travel timer, or if you do like to adjust the settings as you go, the control button difficulty is quite nearly the fatal flaw in the Form 6.

On the good side, if you like a lot of different settings, the Form 6 can deliver -- pulsing, buzzing, etc. You may just have difficulty changing the settings. Also, it is easily rechargeable, which is great!

As for intensity and noisiness, the Form 6 can definitely please on the intensity side (up to 4 vrooms; located in BOTH ends of the vibe), but comes with a bit more noise than I'd generally prefer from a high-end vibe (around 3 buzzy bees).

For cleaning, since the Form 6 is non-porous silicone, you can give it a good wipe-down with a washcloth and some antibacterial soap & water or toy cleaner. You can also run the Form 6 under the tap to get it clean, given that it is waterproof.

As with all silicone toys, you should stick to water-based lube with the Form 6 and make sure it isn't not touching other silicone toys in storage, as they don't tend to play well together. However, given that the Form 6 comes with a charging dock/box, storage for the Form 6 is really quite easy.

The Form 6 comes very nicely packaged and the packaging is actually a charging dock! It comes with instructions and the charging dock. The package is pretty enough for you to gift (discreetly, if you wrap it), but is otherwise pretty declarative of what it contains.

My experience of this toy is really one of interrupted orgasms. Honestly, I'm much less likely to reach for the Form 6 because of the travel timer.
