I Can't Believe It's Not Lipstick!

I think this is a great addition to any toy chest. It's so cute that it seems like a novelty, but powerful enough to convince me otherwise. A great toy to keep in your purse or even out on your nightstand!

Use

Though it is nothing too fancy, you can't go wrong with this buzzy little one-speed if you need a little action in a pinch. I'm a big fan of simple when it comes to clitoral stimulation. I want it easy to hold, powerful, and simple to use. This toy fulfills all of those requirements. It's great alone or with someone else- because it's so small it hardly gets in the way if you're looking for a little added stimulation without disrupting the flow of things. It's my favorite thing to throw in my bag if I'm heading out for an over-nighter but want to pack light.

Material / Texture

The material is hard plastic. Personally, I think that's great because it makes the vibrations seem more intense, but some folks might not find it as sensual as other similar products made of softer materials. It's quite easy to clean, which I think is a plus, and since it is not made of silicone you don't have to worry about what kind of lube to use.

Design / Shape / Size

I will admit you have to play with it a bit before you decide which part of the lipstick tip feels best (the long flat side provides a slightly different feel than the pointy tip), but overall it produces a good, strong vibe for something so small. I think this toy has universal appeal for beginners, and advanced users alike, not to mention this is a great vibrator for traveling because it is so discreet, quiet, and yet powerful!

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy is extraordinarily simple: one speed. After removing the cap you just have to twist the lipstick to turn it on, and back to turn it off again. Twist a little more to access the battery when it's time to be replaced. I was especially happy with how quiet the toy is!

Care and Maintenance

This toy is extremely easy to care for and store (due to small size and discreet design). The hard plastic wipes off easily and doesn't seem to have too many crevices to collect crud.

Experience

This toy is great for added clitoral stimulation with a partner - even guys who were a little hesitant to use toys (for whatever reason: didn't think they were necessary, threatened their masculinity, etc) had no problem sharing the bed with the cute little vibrator.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 28 months after original review

I have had this toy for YEARS now, and it's still adorable and vibes well. I don't see it as an everyday toy because it's not the most powerful or the largest. But it is handy to throw into a purse or take on a trip with you, just in case you are like me and worry about being trapped in a vibrator-free zone. It's still great for teasing, and excellent for use with a partner because it's so small. Viva la lipstick vibe! **Note** Be careful about leaving it lying around your home or your best friend might think it's a toy lipstick and pretend to "put lipstick on" before realizing it's a vibrator.

I've always wondered about the lipstick vibrators. I don't use lipstick, so it would look pretty odd in my purse if I were to carry it out somewhere. Thanks for the review though!

What kind of cleaning regime would you recommend? What sort of batteries does this little baby use and how much of a battery hog is it?

I travel quite a lot on airplanes so this would be a majorly nice little vibe to have in my purse...no raised eyebrows going through customs! LOL
