Incognito lipstick vibe - traditional vibrator discontinued by Topco Sales - review by deltalima

My first experience with the Incognito lipstick vibe was when my roommate had dropped her purse and I picked it up. The design fooled me because I thought it was indeed lipstick. But when I picked it up, the cover fell off. Suddenly flushed, my roommate grabbed it and laughed it off as she explained what it was. I quickly washed my hands and went back to my room. I later looked it up and decided to give it a try.

I purchased the magenta "lipstick" because I preferred the black tube to the Pink version with the silver case. The packaging of the product is plain and simple. It's a calm pink, nothing obnoxious or screaming loud.

Comparing to my lipsticks, it's a little bigger. I would compare it to my small-medium sized lip glosses but if I had to throw it in my makeup bag, I think no one would notice, especially since the black case blends with my other lipsticks. It works like a conventional lipstick where you turn it to have it unscrew. The side shows arrows so that you know which way to turn it. By turning the bottom the other way, you'll release the part to insert the battery. Pay attention to this when cleaning.

The discreetness of this toy is another major plus. It fits in most of my cases and I don't have to worry about this toy. I love the fact that it can blend with my everyday things/surrounding but also that it is travel friendly. It uses an AAA battery which is easy to get, compared to other "discreet" toys that have smaller batteries which are a chore to find. I also love the fact that even with its curves and edges, it is smooth and doesn't snag on my skin.

There are many reasons to love this toy but one of the downsides was that after 3 months, the cap started losing its grip and would sometimes fall off if it rolled/turned over. I didn't use this daily nor did I keep it carelessly so it was a little irritating for it to happen. I wiped it down with a solution after every use and cleaned it thoroughly every 4 uses. This is NOT waterproof so don't throw it in boiling water or anything wet.

Neither bad nor good, the Incognito has one speed. It fairs surprising better than most small single speed vibrators. Personally, one of the reasons I got this was for its discreetness. So the fact that I could find satisfaction for my clit from something in a small size was a pro for me. Having sometimes carried it around in public made me nervous that I would turn it on and have the public hear it. The one speed that made ever so slight vibrations was actually better for me in this toy. I love how much quieter this is compared to my phone on vibrate.

For my use, I used it mainly for clitoral stimulation, direct and indirect. I personally don't get stimulated through my nipples but I did give the Incognito a try. Nothing for my nipples but fireworks for my clit. I think because it's a small narrow toy, it's much easier to place it on the area needed. I also tried this on my boyfriend's p-spot and he loved it. We also tried it with lubricants and they worked well together. As a couple, we used it for foreplay and I was surprised that my boyfriend didn't mind having a girlytoy. We only used this toy in the bedroom, on the bed. This toy is NOTwaterproof. So don't bring it near water or expose to an environment with water. Remember this when cleaning to be cautious of accidentally wetting it or whatnot.

The toy is non-porous and made of plastic so phthalates free. Plastic is one of the easier materials, for me at least, in the toy department to clean and use with other products. As with other plastic toys, it is advised to use water or oil based lubricants. Some people recommend silicone as well but I have yet to use silicone with the Incognito so I can't say with authority. The water-based lubricant I used with this was Pink Water. For my boyfriend's p-spot, we used Men's pleasure cream which is oil-based. I would recommend starting with a little lube, especially with oil-bases because with a small plastic toy, it can quickly become slick to the point of irritation.

I used this toy on myself and with my boyfriend. This is a user friendly, out of the box toy that doesn't need a degree to figure out. I would say that novices can enjoy this and advanced fiends can have fun with this as well.

I had a leisure trip about 2 months after I purchased this and decided to grab it last minute, on my way to the airport. I chucked it in my carry on and had no problem through security although I wonder what the guys watching the scanners were thinking.

I also sadly had my purse stolen about 8 months after I originally purchased the vibe. I highly doubt whoever took my purse would enjoy a previously used plastic toy. But, up until I had this toy, I never had to replace the AAA battery. I only took the battery out during cleaning.

I've gotten new toys, but this still does its job. Sleek and powerful all in one package. This is still a toy worth having.
