SinFive Insigno silicone - traditional vibrator discontinued by SINFIVE - review by Jobthingy

So if you want a simple, easy to use, pretty vibrator for your collection that is made with body safe materials, you have it here with the SinFive Insigno. Unfortunately if you want it to be your favorite, you will have to go back to the drawing board.

Luckily the Insignio does tease both internal and external bits and can make for some pretty fun foreplay, but beyond that, unless you are the most sensitive, it won't go far.

The Insigno is made from a lovely, buttery soft silicone. It is smooth all along the shaft with the exception of the raised fleur de lis symbols that decorate it here and there. They are not really enough of a raise that they will irritate anyone using the toy, unless of course you are uber sensitive to any type of texture. It does bend with you upon insertion, so it will fit just the way you like.

As with all SinFive silicone toys, the silicone has a special anti-microbial property that keeps it from building up any nasty of the surface after cleaning so that you can use it without worry of infection.

The design of this one is pretty basic. It is a straight vibrator measuring in at 8 inches long with an insertable length of 6.5. At its widest point it has a diameter of 1.5 inches. It does taper at the end to about an inch. As mentioned above, it is not rigid, it will flex and bend with you a bit.

Mine came in a lovely shade of lilac and the raised design is quite cute. Purple does not always blend easily so you will want to tuck this on into a drawer or your toy box. It does not come with a pouch of any type but it will play nicely with other silicone toys you have.

Quiet. check. Waterproof. Check. Powerful. Um, not so much.

The Insigno has to buttons located at the base amongst the fleur de lis designs. One is a + and one is a -. To start everything off you want to hit the +, this will start the power at low. To get it to the highest setting you can either press and hold the + to get there quickly or cycle through the 6 speeds of steady vibrations. Once you hit the highest level, you can press + again to enter the 3 vibration modes - slow pulse, quick pulse, and random speed pulse. To exit these modes at any time simply press the - button and to shut it off hold that same button for 1 second. It has no memory so when you turn it off it always starts back at the lowest setting. The vibrations are strongest in the middle of the toy but seem to spread pretty well.

The toy is quiet and cannot be heard under a blanket and worked just fine under water. The power lacks though. The vibrations are high pitched and buzzy and just not strong enough for my liking. I find I go numb before I can get to climax with it. It is good for those that do not like power, adore buzzy, or just to use as a low tease during foreplay.

The anti-microbial property of this toy will no longer work if you put it in the dishwasher or boil it. You would not want to anyways because of the motor. Clean it under warm water and soap or with a wipe. Avoid bleach solutions with this one also. You will want to let it air dry and the rest is up to the toy to keep your play time safe and germ free.

Being silicone you will want to use this one with water based lubes only. It does have drag and collects dust bunnies so you will want to rinse it before every use and always use lube. The packaging is pretty big compared to the toy so it would probably be best just to toss it and store the toy with the rest of your stash.
