Kiss and Miss

The butterfly kiss is meant to stimulate the clitoris and g-spot simultaneously. Whether it does or not depends on how you are built. For me, using the butterfly kiss has been hit or miss. When this toy works for me I orgasm in under ten minutes. However, when it does not, this toy can be a little painful and numbing.

That being said: it is a decent toy for beginners since the small size of the shaft is easy to insert, and it is an easy toy to control.

Although the specs on Eden Fantasys say this is a jelly toy, other sites, including the manufacturer's homepage (and the packaging), state that this toy is made from phthalate-free TPR silicone. There is a significant amount of give to the material, so the shaft of the toy bends very easily in all directions and it is easy to squeeze with my fingers. When used for direct clitoral stimulation, the flexibility of the toy can become annoying if I desire firmer contact.

There is a slight sweet smell to the toy, but it is not noticeable unless the toy is right under my nose.

The butterfly kiss has a thin shaft with a bulb on the end for g-spot stimulation and a hilt with two butterfly wings and two antennae. Between the two wings there is a ribbed surface which is meant to be the body of the butterfly. The bottom part of the toy is covered in small hearts. And then there is the battery compartment which is plastic. Depending on how you hold the toy, the hearts could help with grip.

The shaft of this toy is thin and great for beginners. It is only insertable for about 3-1/2". Even though the description says it has a diameter of 1-1/8", most of the toy is actually much thinner. In general I liked the size of this toy - I had no trouble with insertion which has been an issue with some of my bigger toys.

This toy is pretty clearly a vibrator, so you will probably want to store it out of view of company or children. But it is not incredibly large.

The butterfly kiss has three settings which are controlled by pressing a button on the bottom of the toy. The button is located on the plastic portion of the toy at the very bottom. So if you sat the toy vertically the button would be touching the ground. There is only one button and you press it once to turn the toy on, then another time to get to the medium setting, and a third time to get to the highest setting. The three settings are best described as: mmmmm, MMMM, and MMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

The butterfly kiss is surprisingly quiet for having such a strong high setting. It is inaudible through a closed door and difficult to hear under the covers. It's waterproof, so you will be able to use it in the bathtub or shower.

The butterfly kiss runs on two AAA batteries, so you will want to make sure you have those around when you want to start using this toy.

The vibrations also cause the wings and antennae to move. These are meant to stimulate the clit, however I found them to be a little painful when I moved too much, and they would sometimes cause me to go numb.

The only issue I have with the control is that when I push the button to switch levels of intensity all vibration pauses from the time I begin pressing the button to when I release it, this can be up to 1-2 seconds.

Since this toy is made from TPR silicone, I only use water based lubes so I don't risk damage. I clean it with a little soap and warm water and store it in a plastic bag. It is very important to store this toy in between uses, otherwise every spare particle floating around in the air will cling to it.
