The Vr4.5 is a non-traditional rabbit-style vibrator from Jopen. It is intended to be inserted vaginally, with one arm stimulating internally and one externally, though it can also easily be flipped around towards the back to stimulate the anus. If you haven't got a vagina, the Vr4.5 would also be a safe option for the male-bodied among us, as the shorter rabbit arm would prevent it from being lost inside when inserted anally. Men may enjoy the vibrations of the rabbit arm against their perineum and/or testicles. Although it's designed with vulvas in mind, anyone with any type of body can use this toy. You may even share it amongst partners and orifices if you cover it with a condom or sterilize it between uses. More on that later!

The Vr4.5 is made of smooth, seamless, matte high-quality silicone. It has a light, pleasant smell when you bring it right up to your nose, but the scent doesn't carry or linger. It has no taste and is hypoallergenic and latex- and phthalates-free. Silicone is one of the safest possible sex toy materials. It is non-porous, which means it doesn't hold onto all those germies. In between uses, you can simply rinse it off or wash it gently with soap and water, as it is completely waterproof. It isn't much of a dust collector, but it can't hurt to give it a little swish with water before using, just to be safe. Furthermore, silicone holds temperature well, so running the toy under cool or warm water may provide a varied sensation!

Despite the immense flexibility of this design, the material itself is quite firm, with little to no give when you squeeze it. The smooth texture is ideal for beginners, but all users will delight in the luscious, velvety surface of this toy.

The design of this toy is both beautiful and ingenius. It has an ergonomic shape, with a bulbous head and handle connected by a thin neck. The clitoral arm is a slightly smaller bulb that mirrors the curve of the neck and is tipped with a little droplet shaped extension that feels almost like the end of a finger. Its narrow midsection is incredibly flexible, as is its external arm, allowing it to fit a wide variety of bodies and situations.

Its swollen head is tapered to allow for easy insertion and it narrows again to a thin neck, which provides a delightful sensation of fullness without a continuing stretch at the entrance. The head is 1.5" in diameter, with the neck measureing a mere 0.5". The toy is about 7.25" in total length, with about 4" of insertable length, and a 2.25" clitoral arm.

In spite of not having a realistic penis shape, I don't think the toy is very discreet in design. However, it has a number of features that make it perrfect for travel, including a locking feature and the ability to instantly turn it off with the press of a button.

The bulbous shape of the Vr4.5s head is perfect for stimulating the g-spot with its strong vibrations, but thrusting with it is less than effective because of its floppy neck. Bury it deep, turn on the motor, and let the toy do the work for you. Its strong vibrations just drill right into your g-spot. The powerful, rumbly vibrations of this toy are remarkably quiet. Beneath the covers, it is nearly silent. It performs just as well in the water as out of it and has held up to multiple shower and bathtime uses, with no complaints. This toy is rechargeable in about 4 hours and a charge lasts through four or five uses for me, maybe at a half hour a pop.

The vibrations are controlled independently in each arm. There are two buttons that are comfortable to use and conveniently located. The top button controls the insertable arm, while the bottom button controls the external one. When you press each button it flickers, slowly at first, and then more rapidly as the vibrations speed up. You hold down until you reach your desired intensity. When you release the button, the light remains on. When you click the button once more, the vibrations shut off and so does the light. The vibrations are strongest where the motors are housed, in the thick portions of the two arms, but since silicone translates vibration so well, they're strong just about everywhere. The handle does transmit some vibrations, but I think the narrow, flexible necks prevent the vibrations from rattling your hand around too much.

The one and only improvement I might suggest for this toy is the addition of vibration patterns, but honestly I find that I hardly miss them, as I prefer a steady vibration. The controls are so intuitive and easy to use that by fiddling with them I can create my own sort of patterns, if I really want!

Rinse before and after use, wash with mild soap and water, or sterilize with a 10% bleach solution. Do not boil or place in the dishwasher as the heat will damage the mechanical parts of the toy.

Only use water-based lubricant, as silicone- and oil-based lubricants may damage your toy. Lock the toy by clicking the buttons three times fast. Unlock it by doing the same. Store in the included drawstring bag, recycle the box, and enjoy!

The toy comes in a cardboard box with a lid and a cardboard nest inside, housing the Vr4.5, its charger, and its fabric storage pouch, as well as an instruction packet and a little leaflet listing its qualities. The package may not make the best gift box, as the backside has an image of the vibrator. I suppose you could use it as a storage box, but why bother when they've kindly included a storage pouch for you!
