Brigit is a traditional vibrator from Shots Media. It comes and hot pink and purple and is 8 inches long, with 6-1/2 inches insertable and a 1-1/2 inch diameter. This toy is made of medical grade silicone with a velvety finish, and it is phthalates-free. Brigit has a 2 inch tapered head, which transitions to 3 inches of smooth shaft and 3 inches of textured shaft. The texture on this toy is called "mermaid skin" which resembles scales and is nice for stimulation at the vaginal entrance.





Brigit utilizes an ultrasonic motor and claims to be the world's first safe vibrator. This type of motor is not, however, safe for use by pregnant women. This toy has 10 functions including 3 speeds of vibrations and 7 patterns, which are all operated by a single push button. The lowest setting of vibrations is very gentle and would be great for teasing. The second speed would be appropriate for many who don't need really strong vibrations. There is a significant jump between the second and third speeds, and the third speed of vibrations is pretty powerful. I would rate the three steady vibrations as 1 vroom, 2 vrooms, and 4 vrooms.

The patterns vary in speed and intensity, so I decided that it would be easiest to demonstrate them, along with the 3 straight vibration speeds, with the video included in this review. The vibrations are concentrated in the tip of the vibrator and do not permeate very well to the base. The vibrations are low in pitch ("thrummy", rather than "buzzy") and the tip is great if you need pinpoint vibrations.

Brigit is splash-proof, so you can take her into the shower or clean her in the sink, but she should not be fully submerged. As with all silicone toys, silicone lubricant should not be used. The manual recommends water-based lubricant, though oil-based is also compatible. This toy can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap, though toy cleaner may also be used. The company recommends not using an alcohol-based toy cleaner on this toy, however. This product is operated by 2 AA batteries, and a set is included in the box. The battery compartment is pretty snug, so not all rechargeables may fit.

This vibrator comes in a very classy black box with a window on the front. The back opens like a book so you can see through the packaging. Also included are two instruction booklets in 8 languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Polish, and Italian.

I have used this toy a few times and think it's wonderful. The silicone is very smooth and I really like the pinpoint vibrations I can get from the tip. I was a little disappointed that you can't feel the vibrations all the way down the shaft, but that does mean that your hand doesn't go numb from vibrations, which is a plus. Overall, I thought this was a really great vibrator that many would enjoy

I've really enjoyed this toy. I don't reach for it as much as some of my other toys, but every once in awhile I get in the mood for this one. I still really love the scales on this one and the silky texture of the silicone.
