This Rose Won't Die or Amaze, but It's Pretty

The Bendable Rose is an attractive and functional personal massager that bends to vibrate where you want it. It has a single button on the bottom of its root that toggles through on/off and seven vibration settings. The two Aaa batteries are easily hidden in the root of the vibrating rose.

The bendable rose is best used for quiet, gentle stimulation of the body. The vibrations are located in the bulb and stem of the Rose. It is waterproof and the Bendable Rose can be inserted into the vagina. According to the product description, this vibe is insertable up to 2 inches, but I would expect that it could go further as the stem vibrates also. Approximately 8 inches of this toy vibrates.

The Bendable Rose could also possibly be used as an anal toy, even though it is not advertised as such. The base is flared, and I would imagine it could not get stuck in anus. I did not test it as an anal toy because it has a 5 inch circumference and that is too large for me.

I am a little torn about who I would recommend this toy for. For beginners, it could make a pretty gag gift and external vibrator. For those familiar with G spotting, its firm bud and bendable stem may be just what the doctor ordered. The main thing to keep in mind with this toy is the size of the bulb. At 5 inches, it is not one of the smaller vibes available.

The Bendable Rose is made of hard plastic with a coated silicone bud and stem. I was surprised by how hard the bud was. It was very smooth and velvety, but due to the plastic underneath, it had no give whatsoever. The silicone coating feels to be about a half inch thick. Interestingly, the tip of the bud does not have plastic underneath. It is a full half inch of vibrating silicone. For me, that part of the Rose feels the best.

The rosebud is textured to resemble a real rose. I did not feel any difference but it looked pretty.

The stem seems to have significantly less plastic underneath it and bends rather easily. It feels like the glow stick necklaces that you can bend and wear around your neck. In fact, when I first opened it, the stem popped as I bent it back and forth!

The root of the flower is hard plastic with some texture. The root does not vibrate. It is the holding spot for the batteries and controls. The texture on the root makes it easy to hold in wet situations (like a shower).

The vibrations on the Bendable Rose were best felt in the hard part of the flower bud. That means there are two inches of strong, hard vibrations on this toy. The majority silicone tip and stem transferred weaker vibrations.

The silicone bendable rose is made of non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, latex free food-grade material so you should feel safe with it. It should be used with water based lubricants to prevent any damage to the silicone coating.

Unfortunately, unlike honeysuckles, this flower has no scent or taste to go with it, but it does vibrate, so I guess thats a draw.

It's a rose and it's pretty, what's not to like? Well, firstly, who has ever heard of a rock hard rosebud? Although I can guess that the bud was designed hard to increase pressure on the G-Spot, I had a difficult time getting the 5 inch plastic bouncy ball up my vaginal canal into that spot! I thought of adding lube to it to ease the process, but the only lube I own is silicone based.

I realize there are many 5 inch (circumference) vibrators and dildos available. I own the Bliss and it is also 5 inches. However, the big difference between the two vibrators is that I thought this one was supposed to reach the G spot, while that one sits low in the vagina. Another difference is the shape. They are both 2 1/2 inches long, but the Bendable Rose has a plastic ball enclosed in silicon with a pointed end, while the Bliss is a plastic egg. Now here is where they really differed: I loved the fullness that I got from the Bliss, while the Bendable Rose felt like a speculum. I don't understand what went wrong!

I went to bed confused and really bothered by the fact that it was so uncomfortable the first time I used it. I figured it must have been my fault and tried it again. After enduring more pain, I decided that the Rose was only going to sit low in my vagina. There was no reaching my G-spot with it. I also tried playing with the stem some, and found that if bent towards the body it can stimulate the clitoris while having the bulb internal.

I was expecting more from the Bendable Rose. Specifically, I was expecting amazing G Spot stimulation. Fact is, it was too big to navigate the curves of my body no matter how flexible the stem. Those of us more familiar with G spotting may have better luck with that design function of the toy.

Other than my disappointment with its use as a G-Spot vibrator, the Bendable Rose does have some redeeming qualities. Its pretty enough to leave out and make excuses about. It is not labeled as a sex toy, so it shouldn't be too hard to travel with. It's also quiet with moderately strong vibrations. The G Spot is overrated right?

The vibrations are located in the flower bulb and stem of the bendable rose. The strongest vibrations can be felt in the bottom two inches of the rose, with lighter stimulation on the tip and in the stem.

The Bendable Rose is started by pressing the button on the bottom of the root. The first press will turn the Rose on. The second press will turn on a high steady vibration. The third press will start a 3 vibration repeated rhythm. The fourth press will start a 6 vibration repeated rhythm. The fifth press will start a 5 vibration repeated rhythm. The sixth press will start an interesting rhythm that sounds like records scratching. The seventh press will start a low steady vibration. The eighth press will start a medium steady vibration. Hold the button for at least three seconds to turn the Rose off.

There are no instruction, but the Rose is pretty easy to figure out. Simply press the button and bend the vibrator to your liking. The controls were well placed and easy to hold. The root was just fat enough for my hand to grasp comfortably. The stem bends easily and holds its shape.

The bendable rose is waterproof and is just as easy to use in the shower. I did not prefer it in the shower because the weak vibrations were just weaker in the water. The texture on the root made it easy to hold while wet.

My favorite thing about the bendable rose is how quiet it is. It makes less noise than my washing machine and could hardly be heard in the shower.

The Bendable Rose is silicone coated, so it will stay pretty clean. Wash it in soap and water or use toy cleaner. When cleaning, make sure to close the toy tightly to keep water out of the battery chamber. Although it is titled silicone, this toy is mostly plastic, so you probably shouldn't boil it. Also, keep it out of the dishwasher.

To prolong battery life, store the batteries outside of the vibrator.

The Bendable Rose comes in a plastic rose vase with a ribbon around it. It has minimal writing on it and is labeled as a massager. It is very pretty and would make a nice gift.

I am giving this toy three stars because it led me on, then let me down.

1. It is not a G Spot vibrator. Although it does not make any claims as such, I was expecting a G-Spot vibrator. Why else would it bend? Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't get it up there no matter how hard I relaxed.

2. It is not Silicone. Silicone gives. This toy is silicone coated and very hard.

3. It does not have strong vibrations. Yes, it has some cool vibration settings, but they aren't very strong. On some settings, it is almost unnoticeable in the stem. For me, high was the only acceptable setting, and it is the reason it has 3 Vrooms and not 2.
