We Didn't Fall in Love, but I Like Her.

The Zini Ran is a small G-spot vibrator. It's a great choice for you if you weren't a fan of Gigi's shape. It's rechargeable, silicone, and has a really neat LED backlight. I like the Zini Ran, but it's not my favorite G-spot toy. Ever since trying the Pure Wand all other G-spot toys have fallen short. That being said, I still think the Zini Ran is a great toy. Just consider everything before buying it.

Use

Zini’s Zini Ran is a G-spot styled vibrator. It has lots to offer! It’s rechargeable, silicone, and very pretty. I like it, but I’m not in love with it. This is one of the toys I was on the edge about for a while and couldn’t decide if I liked it or not. Ultimately, I do like it but I feel it’s a little overpriced. Ever since I’ve played with the Pure Wand, all other G-spot toys have fallen short. Is this Zini Ran’s fault? No, it’s still a great toy. It is my favorite vibrating G-spot toy compared to the Gigi. However, the Pure Wand has literally ruined all G-spot toys for me. I do recommend Zini Ran if you’re looking for a different G-spot vibrator.

The Zini Ran is designed for internal vaginal stimulation but can also be used externally. It is not designed for anal base. With no flared base, I don’t recommend anal insertion. You certainly don’t want to go to the ER!

Material / Texture

The Zini Ran is made out of very smooth silicone. The silicone is almost butter like in feel. It’s definitely one of the softest silicones I’ve ever felt. Silicone itself is very safe to use and non-porous. The whole toy rates an eight out of ten because of the plastic handle.

The Zini Ran is totally smooth with no texture. Silicone has no noticeable smell. Although silicone tends to attract hair and lint, the Zini Ran does not. The Zini Ran offers very little drag. There were no noticeable seams on the toy. The silicone is squishy, but the toy itself does not bend at all.

Design / Shape / Size

When I receive my toys, I’m usually surprised at how big they are. The opposite was true with the Zini Ran. It is so small and thin. It’s almost too small for me. The head itself curves up similar to the Gigi to stimulate your G-spot. It then thins to the handle. The shaft is so thin at a point; it looks like a twig that you can break in half! The whole toy is nearly 8” long. It has a circumference of 4 ¼” and a diameter of 1 3/8”. The small size makes this perfect for beginners to advanced users.

Here are some pictures of the Zini Ran with the Gigi. The Gigi has a sharper head, which makes thrusting uncomfortable. Zini’s head is gently curved upwards; there isn’t a sharp curve. I really like Zini’s design better. It’s much more thrust friendly and comfortable for my G-spot. I didn’t like Gigi’s head. If you weren’t a fan of Gigi (like me) then I’d suggest the Zini Ran.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Travel Lock and Recharging

The Zini Ran comes travel locked so it won’t go off during shipment. To unlock it, press the minus button and then the plus button for three seconds and it should unlock. When it’s locked, the control pad will light up red. When the lock is off, it will flash green. The manual advises you to charge the Zini Ran before you use it. However, I noticed that it was already 90% charged when I got it. The cool thing about this toy is that you can check the battery life anytime! Press the button in the middle for two seconds to check the battery life. There are lots of different colors. In general, red to orange means the battery is low and you should charge it. Yellow to green to blue means it’s over 50% charged. Blue means a full charge. The average charge time is two hours. You can use it when it’s plugged in. I have found the battery to hold its life for quite some time. I've used it many times and I haven't had to charge it.

Be Gentle!

To charge the toy simply open the cover on the back and plug it in. The charger comes with an adapter. Be really careful with the cover over the back port. I wasn’t paying attention once and it ripped off really easily. Now I have to be extra careful when I clean it. The Zini Ran is splash proof, not waterproof! Be really careful when cleaning it.

Buttons and Functions

Zini Ran’s control panel has an LED backlight. The Zini Ran has three main buttons. There’s a – sign, a + sign, and the center circle button. The – to + changes power and the circle button controls all your patterns. To turn on Zini, simply press the + button. To turn it off, hold down the minus sign. There are 5 modes of steady vibration. This toy is very quiet in general. The first four modes can only be felt at the top of the toy. At the fifth setting, you can feel the whole toy vibrate including the control panel. I’m very impressed with how quiet this toy is because of its power. The Zini Ran isn't super powerful with a vroom of around 3.5. It only has a bee of around 2.

The Zini Ran has a bunch of patterns. There really isn’t a simply way to cycle through the patterns. You can first press the circle button, but then there is a certain order of buttons you need to press to access all of them. For my sanity, I’m not going to include them here. If you get the Zini Ran simply look at the brochure. If you love patterns, this is a good choice. There are pulses, escalations, and a roller coaster. During the pulses the Zini Ran gives you a fun light show. If the lights drive you nuts you can actually turn them off by holding down on the plus button. I like all the different functions this toy offers, but it’s a lot to process. I just like the steady vibration mode. The lights are cool because you can remember which pattern you like by the light color.
    • Hard to figure out
    • Long lasting power
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

The Zini Ran is splash proof so you can clean the silicone portion in water and soap. Since my port ripped off, I had to be really careful not to get water on the socket or control pad. If you’re concerned, I recommend using a wipe to clean her. If you wish to sterilize the Zini Ran, simply wash it in a 10% bleach solution. Don’t boil it! It could ruin the motor.

Cleaning can be difficult with the Zini Ran. The area that connects the plastic handle to the silicone shaft isn’t secured very well. It can be fairly easy to get fluid stuck inside which makes for an unpleasant clean up. I usually use a wipe and my nail to get it out. Since the Zini Ran is silicone, don’t use a silicone based lubricant.

Packaging

The Zini Ran came in a pretty black box with a red cardboard wrap around. The box has little checkers all over it. It is magnetically closed and it lists Zini on the front of the box. It’s definitely discreet! I love the box! It’s nice, roomy, and could certainly fit a lot of toys inside. The Zini Ran comes with a really cool black checkered storage box. I really like it. The Zini Ran also comes with two brochures and its charger.

One brochure is colored and lists the million different functions that come with this toy. The other manual lists how to charge it, clean it, etc. It also talks about the warranty information. Zini guarantees its products due to defects for one year after the date of purchase. To validate your warranty, keep your receipt and serial number. Register your Zini at www.zini.kr.
