Less friendly is Hollywood designers’ treatment of voluptuous Christina Hendricks, Mad Men Star and recent “Sexiest Woman Alive.” The buxom beauty has admitted that the perk that most tinsel town elite get—evening gowns on loan from famous designers—does not apply to her because she’s a size 14.
“People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me. Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress,” Hendricks lamented after the Emmy Awards. “They only lend out a size 0 or 2.”
It appears fashion still hasn’t caught up to the “healthy” look that Hendricks has championed as a role model, especially for young girls caught in the “body crisis” of stick-thin magazine models. Still, if Sexiest Christina doesn’t get her designer glitter and bows, we’re not worried—she’d look ravishing in a burlap sack.

Stupid designers! Christina is lovely, and they should feel honoured that she would want to wear a dress made by one of them! Plus, it would be good P.R. for the designers.
Seriously, they only lend out a 0 or 2? I'm 5'8", 125lbs, and just about everyone finds me attractive. I'm a 5! Most people aren't sticks, even the thin ones! Wake up, clothing designers.
