Anyone who has ever shaved their "private parts" and then suffered from what I like to call Burning Bush Syndrome will understand why protecting a freshly groomed cooch is important. This product creates a protective layer between your freshly shaved or waxed skin and the rest of the world, including all those irritating things like clothes and dirt.

Coochy Protection Mist is great for men and women alike, is great for use on legs, cooch, googch, armpits, face and head. This is a great addition to our daily skin care rituals.

The ingredients are: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glarbal (Licorice) Root Extract, Echinacea Agustoifolia Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Epiloblum Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Lilium Candidum Bulb Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Polyquarternium-10, Potassium Sorbstat, Disodium EDTA

Glycerin is the only major allergen, though I would take a quick look through the ingredient list to see if there is anything herbal that may irritate your skin.

Coochy After Shave Protection Mist is just that, a very light mist. I don't notice it at all once it's dried. To speed up drying I usually pat any freshly shaved or waxed area, apply the mist, rub it in and then set my blow dryer to "Air" and blow it dry to speed up the drying time.

I also use the Coochy Shave Cream, and the two products together seem to work perfectly for me. My skin is very smooth and silky for days after a shave. For me, this product seems to also act a bit of an anti-irritant because, prior to my discovering this product, occasionally I would get a rash.

It is designed to tighten pores, similar to mens' aftershave, this however doesn't have the "burn" that comes with mens' aftershave products.

The smell is nice. It would be better if it were more mint scented rather than the floral tones it has. But that is more of a personal preference than an objective one. It's a fairly light scent that really isn't noticeable after dressing.

I couldn't really pin down the actual scent--I'm sure it's due to the mixture of herbals used in the product creation. Again, it's not unpleasant, but it's not really all that awesome either. Thankfully, it doesn't last long and isn't overpowering.

I did not taste it, because, well, it's a shaving product.

Coochy After Shave Protection Mist lasts me all day. Though, I'm pretty sedentary outside my work-out. So additional applications may be needed if you are very active throughout the day. I do apply a second application after my work-outs, but more so because I also shower afterwards.

The thing that strikes me most about this product is that it actually works! The kitty is clean, sparkly, and rash-free all day, every day, regardless of a fresh shave or wax. I spend no time adjusting my underwear or sneaking in a scratch due to irritation when using this product regularly.
