Bad Protection

Overall this is a normal aftershave, there aren't really a lot of things that makes this special. It might smell girlier, and be less drying but that's it. It doesn't really contain anything that really makes its claims to toning, nor preventing irritation at all and is more equivalent of lotions with all kinds of botanical extracts that claim to reverse aging and such.

Use

I love the feeling of aftershave on the skin after shaving. It helps to protect, firm and tone skin after you shave and to tighten up pores. The other thing I like is most aftershaves has a nice feeling after being used. This one is suppose to be used daily as a part of skincare according to suggested usage. It's sugarfree and safe for all skin types. They don't test on animals, nor do they add parabens nor sulfates, which makes this perfect for sensitive skin.

Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, lavendula, Angustifolia, Flower Extract, Cucumis Sativis, Fruit Extract, Camelia Sinesis Leaf Extract, Matricaria Extract, Licorie Root Extract, Echinacea Agustfolia Extract, Triticum Vulgare Germ Extract, Raspberry Fruit Extract, Epilobium Angustfolium Flower Extract, Lilium Candidum Bulb Extract, Sage Leaf Extract, Oat Kernal Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Lavender Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Polyquaternum-10, Potassium Sorbstat, Disodium EDTA

A lot of this stuff is just plant extracts, but they use the scientific name with the normal name in parenthesis. This has more glycerin than alcohol which is different from other aftershaves, and those with yeast infection should try to not get this inside them. This can work on the labia fine, but just be careful.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

When sprayed out it's white and bubbly and looks more like cleaning fluid than aftershave. I have a lot of spray products and it doesn't do that white bubbly effect. That was certainly offputting. Other than that this felt like any other aftershave, smooth, thin, and easy to spread. They were right, it does spray upside down!

It does stay well, and doesn't leave stickiness. I do like that it has low alcohol content since I suffer from dry skin and it sometimes burns when it gets into nicks from shaving. This is a bit more oily and slick than normal aftershave though.

Taste / Aroma

This has a really salty floral scent. Some people might like it, but it smells odd to me. The smell is faint, but is there. It's not noticeable unless you put it a few inches from your nose or the bottle is near which is nice. I wouldn't put this in my mouth if I were you since unlike lubricant, it was not meant to be swallowed AT ALL.

Performance

Unlike most aftershaves, I didn't get the nice 'after-shave' sensation that I normally get. Instead it felt more like I put lotion on my skin which is different. Unfortunately, this doesn't stop irritation I get from shaving my bikini area nor armpits and that is still itchy. It absorbs nicely in the skin, which is good, but nothing really special. It doesn't dry up very fast, which might leave you feeling a bit damp, but that's because of low alcohol content.
I do wish this could solve the irritation issue though after shaving since that's the main problem which it does claim to solve. This is like snake oil of skincare, it adds a bunch of botanical extracts as sort of a buzzword, but I don't really see proof of all the benefits. My skin is the same as it normally is, and this is no different from other aftershaves.
