Hoochy Coochy! I love this stuff!

I'm a believer! Since I started using Coochy After Shave Protection Mist my skin has been softer and I have not encountered the usual itching and irritation that usually accompanies shaving. I love the natural botanical smell of this spray and I love its soothing effect on my skin even more. Overall, it is a lovely product and well worth the money!

Use

This water-based protective spray provides an invisible barrier between newly shaven skin and your clothing. After shaving delicate areas such as your bikini line, legs and armpits, spritz some of this spray on your skin and allow to dry. It smells nice and dries completely clear; you cannot tell where it is once applied.

It also moisturizes and aids in minimizing and tightening skin pores and protecting against dirt and sweat, thus preventing possible infections and irritation. Note: It does not actually contain any kind of antibacterial ingredients.

Those with sensitive skin or allergies need to be cautious, as this product does contain fragrance as well as the following ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Chamomillia Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glarbal (Licorice) Root Extract, Echinacea Agustifolia Extract, Triticum Wulgare (Wheat) germ extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem extract, Lilium Candidum Bulb Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Dipotassium glycyrrhizate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Polyquaternium-10, Potassium Sorbstat, Disodium EDTA

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The spray is very, very thin but I do feel like it is slightly oily. That's not to say that it leaves your skin oily at all; it absorbs well and you can't even tell where you've applied it once it's dry. The bottle is easy to use since it has a 360 degree sprayer which allows you to spray private areas easily.

Taste / Aroma

I would describe the scent as a Tea Tree Oil type smell, if you've ever smelled that before. It smells quite crisp and clean. It is a bit strong but fades quickly to the point where you can't smell it unless you put your skin up to your nose. It is not overpowering.
    • Smells good

Performance

This product gets an A+ for performance. It does exactly what it promises to do; soothes the skin, prevents irritation, moisturizes, and tightens pores. It is not sticky or greasy at all. The spray bottle is perfect, it definitely is easy to spray upside down to reach your delicate areas. There aren't any cons that I can think of. It's relatively inexpensive but works like a luxury product!
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural

Packaging

I received my bottle in a clear plastic bag. The bottle has a pink label on the front (as shown in the pictures) and is discreet except for the word "Coochy" (if you're bothered about that, or other people seeing it, just be aware that it does say that right on the bottle). On the back of the label is the description of the product and a list of ingredients. It is a 4oz bottle, relatively small (easy to store) and does not leak when turned on its side.
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense

Special Features

The special property of this product is that it contains a lot of natural botanicals such as lavender, cucumber, echinacea, sage, and chamomile which help to soothe and moisturize the skin.

Personal comments

To me, this product is worth the cost, works well and I would recommend it to anybody.

Experience

Since I started using it, all my little red bumps from shaving have disappeared and I no longer get razor burn, irritation. I should also note that it does not sting at all when applied.
