The Doctor is in!
Whoa – Doc Johnson is here! And this is no typical interview... we have a father and son interviewing together. Ron Braverman has been in the toy business for 33 years now and is truly a sex toy pioneer. Can you just imagine some of the battles over the years? Being in the adult industry surely isn’t always as fun as it looks. I am certainly curious about those days! I wonder what the first toy Doc ever made was...or what their all-time best seller is. Don’t you want to know how Ron and his staff came up with ideas for some of the most innovative designs in the history of his company? And Ron’s not all toys; he’s also a family man and a leader for rights in the industry, as he is a founding father of the Free Speech Coalition.
Chad is the new generation, coming up in the company and bringing it forward for the last 7 years. I imagine he had quite an edge, having grown up so close to the business. How much did the family business affect his aspirations before he joined the company? What changes has Chad made at Doc Johnson so far and what challenges lay ahead for him as he embarks on new lines with Doc? I sure want to know, and I’m guessing you might too – so ask!
Being the biggest company on the industry takes hard work and a lot of manpower – and now we get to be a fly on the wall in Doc Johnson headquarters – what questions do you have for these fellows? Do you want to know how particular toys are made? There are thousands and thousands to choose from. Maybe you have factory questions, or future lines in the works might pique your interest. I met both men while in LA in July for the industry shows and both of these guys are so friendly. They were immediately interested in Eden Link and doing the community interview – to be available to you, to get feedback and to share information. I am so excited to be able to ask all those questions that I tried not to bombard them with at our meeting! What an awesome opportunity!
