I think all genitals are ugly/comical looking. If they were on more display, I think there would be a lot more asexuals out there. I think penises look like aliens and vaginas look like monsters... which led my best friend to label penile-vaginal as AVP (Alien vs. Predator).
But... I don't think anyone needs to change anything. It's a vagina, and it's going to be tucked away most of the time. If your labia are so large you can't sit down properly, that's one thing, but I'm sure most people who like the general you enough to be poking around down there (excluding gynecologists) wouldn't care if your labia were pink or purple, as long as they were providing you with pleasure.

I do not see how vaginas can be ugly really. It is just what your preference is. And no matter how ugly you think your vagina is, there is someone out there who will think it is beautiful.

I think when you stare at any genitalia for long (and I do while looking for inspiration for smutty art), it all starts looking kind of awkward. These parts aren't really designed for public viewing. But ugly? No, it is rare that I see something I find ugly. With males and females, I do have very strong preferences, though. And that is OK. What is not OK is putting down someone's parts. I've known of people who hesitate to get into relationships because of these insecurities. I've been angry about some things I've seen here lately.
