I'm a Mac user so I bounce between Safari and Firefox. There are things I like about each one and I generally use them for different purposes. I tend to do my "naughty" browsing on Firefox. When a friend wants to look something up online on my computer, I open Safari. I can keep my privacy better intact that way!

Finally, I have found and settled on the internet browser that works best for me: Firefox. I loves its customizable features, the add-ons, the quasi-cute message it gives when it crashes (which is rare). My boyfriend uses Chrome, and we (jokingly) war out over who has the better browser. He's convinced that his is better and is always trying to get me to switch.
So, what browser do you like best? What is it that you like best about it? Am I missing out here by having Firefox? I'm inclined to think not, but you tell me! less

I love Firefox, but I keep a wide variety of browsers installed, just in case. In case of what? Who knows!
There's a certain site (not a bank) that I'm forced to use at work, but do not trust to be secure, and years ago, thanks to Firefox, disaster was narrowly averted when hackers attacked. Now that Firefox is so popular, I use Opera on that particular website, and again more recently, our accounts were safe when badness happened. This has nothing to do with one browser being better than the other; it's simply a side effect of popularity. Thieves set up their operations to target the largest possible pool of victims.
Anyway, I'll pretty much use anything except IE in most situations. I do use IE if I need to visit Microsoft's actual website, since ti scolds you otherwise.

I use OpenSuSE Linux as my primary operating system, so I don't need to use IE at all (and I'm just happy with that ). My personal rating of browsers looks like:
Opera > Firefox > Konqueror > others.
Opera > Firefox > Konqueror > others.

I use Firefox, and have for years. I also have Chrome, Safari, and IE installed for compatibility testing. Firefox is the only one I really use, unless I need/want to look at something in another browser for some reason.

I use Firefox, but boyfriend is constantly badgering me to switch to Opera. I'll do it just as soon as they get a good adblock extension, I can't stand ads anymore!

I've officially made the switch the Chrome because IE was being evil to me. I kinda like Safari except flash doesn't work on any Apple device or product and that's so not cool.

Google Chrome for the win! I think it's the most awesome, most efficient browser out there, and I've definitely used nearly every version of every browser out there (except for Mosaic). Internet Explorer 9 is a close second (I didn't like 7 or 8, but 6 was pretty good). I can't stand Firefox. It feels slow and clunky compared to Chrome. And don't even get me started with Safari.
To say the least, I'm typically a loyalist when it comes to technology.

I use a Google Chrome mod called RockMelt which has feed interfaces in the margins. Then it was Firefox, but the new IE 9 looks like it is possibly better. It definitely loads faster and really resembles the Chrome interface.
