Not only has Nina Hartley but doing a kick ass weekly video column on Sexis Magazine for a year now, but this week she is also on the Communnity Interview. Go check it out and ask some questions!
Have you been keeping up with out Eden Community Give Back point drives? Well, the point drive for the Fifth Family just began. Mistress Kay is hosting this last round of giving. She is raising money for a women’s shelter in her area, that she has been donating her affiliate commissions to. Please take a look at the post, and if you can, offer up some points!
Over on Eden Café this week there is a contest going on called the Bzzz Buddies Giveaway. You can enter for a chance to win your choice of these four cute little vibes. There are going to be three winners, so enter now to win.
Nomination for December’s Contibutor of the Month are now being accepted. Please check out the thread if you would like more information about how to submit a nomination.
This coming Thursday at 7pm est will be the next Community Events Committee Meeting. You are all welcome, and encouraged to attend. We will be talking about clubs, workshops, the holiday party, and any ideas or suggestions that any one has.
Speaking of ‘Clubs’, we added some new subcategories to the new Clubs category this week. I also posted a few general posts about Bloggers sharing their posts with the community, and also a call out to writers who want to form / join a writers club. Check them out, everyone is welcome!
We had 330 reviews submitted this week. That’s like 3rd place now right – not too shabby! It has been awesome having so many reviews coming in. Who knows, maybe in a few months we will be hitting 400. What a great week! Congratulations everyone!
And now on to this week’s 5 picks…
Viktor Vysheslav Malkin – “Enroll Me” a review of Digital Playground’s “Teachers”. With a video review template like this, with the screen shots, you can tell Victor is more about quality than quantity. Victor’s review is full of such great information; it even inspired some members to add it to their wish lists!
Research – “Two’s company; three’s a crowd” a review of the My Pleasure by California Exotic Novelties. With the accompanying video review and the overall level of detail in the descriptions that is useful and relevant, this is a great review! As a plus, you have the awesome background in the video too!
Airen Wolf - "Whip Me, Beat Me, Make Me Call You Edna!" a review of the Sensua Suede Whip from Lelo. This whip, which is really a flogger, is a gorgeous new toy from Lelo. Airen Wolf finds the Sensua a great introductory flogger with its high quality and weighted handle. While it won't create fear, it will elicit pleasureful sighs and squirms of delight from your willing partner.
Middy - "No shivers but still delivers!" a review of the Happy's Body Trip Metal body massager by Entrenue . It looks like a Zen garden rake, but the Happy's Body Trip is something more! Middy finds this to be a great back massager, particularly when used in a hot shower. It's great for scalp massage as well, although the prongs may get weak if they're bent too much.
Darthkitt3n – “As powerful as a tiny lawnmower” a review of California Exotic Novelties Passion Ring. The refreshing thing about this review is that it’s written for the first time user. It’s great when you can see the name/type of the battery in the review too. She liked how it has a removable bullet, but found that it can be hard to get it back in the ring.
