I'm looking to get my boyfriend a new anal for his upcoming birthday. We have only dabbled in backdoor play a few times but he has told me how much he enjoys it, and that he wouldn't mind trying pegging at some point as well. Suggestions for a beginner??

If it's his birthday and he is a beginner, you could buy him something classy and of really high quality that can be firstly used even after advancing to the next level, good for travel and is waterproof with rechargeable batteries. One bonus as well - you can use it too

I'm talking of course about the Lelo Billy and it's currently offered with a discount of $41.70.

Enjoy and Happy Birthday!

It's really great that you have an open-minded BF, who's not afraid of exploring his own body and get rewarded with unique P-spot orgasms

If you're new to pegging and are not sure, which toy to choose and how to make it a truly exciting experience, I recommend reading the Pegging Basics here on EF.

Have you already looked through the strap-on harnesses' reviews?

If you want to ease into it, I would get him a anal-friendly remote controlled vibrator or buttplug for him to wear while you have sex. It will be an absolute thrill for him.

If you're comfortable with getting really involved in anal with him, I would suggest a lot of lube, a pair of well-fitting disposable gloves, and try manual prostate stimulation! (Gloves are optional, but they make clean-up a lot less of a hassle. I personally abhor lube-y fingers.)

The Lelo Billy is a fine toy. It has a learning curve though. Also it's design does not let it naturally find the prostate on its own. Is size an issue? The Hugo might be a good choice. It's a little bit bigger in girth though.

We've used a plug before, I'm just not sure of the girth... like I said, pretty new to this!

That's how it starts. We started with something small ( decent amount of lube. And clean out 1st is a must! ) . A small p spot toy with little curve and bump pushed gently in and out is a good easy way to start.

Add giving him head at the same time and watch him swirm and moan. The same p spot massager left in ( or butt plug) him while having intercourse will rock his world!

If the two of you enjoy that then pegging will soon follow. Then you will own him. He will become your servant and subject. And you his Queen.

How's that sound?

I opted for the Lelo Loki as I liked the shape better... definitely easy to hit the prostate. The tapered tip makes it reasonably easy to insert. We've found the vibrations also help with relaxing if tense... but it's not the smallest of anal toys and might be a bit intimidating to start with.

If you wanted to get the Loki + a less expensive starter toy, we just reviewed the Backdoor arouser and it is a great toy to start with + also has enjoyable vibrations.

At the time of my purchase of the Lelo Billy, the Lelo Loki was not out. I have wanted to get the Loki for a long time but I have not been able to make the plunge. Would you say it is easier to insert than Billy is?
