If you want to ease into it, I would get him a anal-friendly remote controlled vibrator or buttplug for him to wear while you have sex. It will be an absolute thrill for him.
If you're comfortable with getting really involved in anal with him, I would suggest a lot of lube, a pair of well-fitting disposable gloves, and try manual prostate stimulation! (Gloves are optional, but they make clean-up a lot less of a hassle. I personally abhor lube-y fingers.)
