I'm new to this scene and I'm trying to decide between two toys as my first anal toy for prostate stimulation. I can't decide between the Pfun plug and the Pure plug either medium or large.
I was first attracted to the Pure plug because its sleek design and it is not too intimidating; but than I saw a link to the Pfun plug which seems more geared towards prostate stimulation.

Any suggestions on which one I should choose, or am I not even in the ballpark?

Constructive discussions on Butt plugs:

If you're looking for something just to play with, I think the Pfun would be better. I think I've seen some people say that it doesn't stay in very well on it's own, though, so the Pure plug would probably be best if you're looking for something hands-free.

We have the Pfun, the Pure Plug Large, and the Pure Wand. My husband enjoys prostate stimulation. He has tried all 3.

The Plug does nothing for him (that is OK, I like it just fine); it does not touch his prostate in the slightest.

The Pfun is nice and he likes it (does not really work in any fashion on/in me), but it is not exactly hands free if that is what you are after. It does come out during sex unless he is laying on his back and it will not remain in place during his orgasm.

The one he loves is the Pure Wand. He can achieve plenty of milking and multiple orgasms with it. I like it because it allows me the length to be able to drive it during a handjob or blowjob. I love to participate so it is a win-win.

AND the Pure Wand is so versatile and I LOVE multipurpose toys! Personally, I enjoy using it for G-spot play and I find it fantastic for anal and for DP'ing also!

I agree. From what I'm told (being of the gender not endowed with a prostate!) the Pure wand is amazing.

It sounds as if the choice is no longer between the Pfun and the Pure plug, but more between the Pfun and the Pure wand.

I hadn't even thought of the Pure wand. Any other suggestions?

The PureWand is great for both g-spot and p-spot play. We have the small and medium Pure Plugs. The small I plan to use for my girl - the medium works best for me. I've just ordered the Pfun Plug and I'm expecting it to be my favorite. It should be here by tomorrow and I'll be writing my review in about 30 days.

From a guys' perspective.. :

I think the Njoy Pure Plug Large is the best all around plug,
you can wear it anywhere, no worries.

The Pure plug 2.0 is better but not recommended for beginners,
the Pure plug medium is great for smaller frames or beginners.

I have the Pfun but like the Pure plugs better because they stay put.

Yes! I highly, very highly recommend the Nob Essence Romp.

I have the pfun plug and both the medium and large Pure plugs. They are all great products but they left me looking for more. That's when I found the Romp. Did I mention that I highly recommend it? I really need to write a review on it.

I gifted a Pure Plug Medium to a male friend long before I bought my own (I don't have a prostate, so I can only tell you what he told me.) He said that the Pure Plug was perfect for wearing around, but he wished it was a bit longer so it could actually hit his prostate. (He wasn't super-knowledgable about sex toys, so he didn't know the Pfun existed when he mentioned it.)

Anyhow, if it's extended wear you want, you can't go wrong with a Pure Plug. If you want it to reach your prostate, better go with the Pfun. I don't know anyone with a Pfun, so check with owners to see if that works for extended play too---but it's definitely the better bet for hitting your prostate.

I think it really depends on what features you're looking at, either a plug style or wand/probe. Since you say you are new to prostate play, you may want to try some cheaper alternatives first to see what type you prefer. The Njoy products are great but pricey, especially if you're not sure what you want. I have the Pure Plug 2.0 and the Pure Wand and I like them both. The plug works well for hands free stimulation although it won't be nearly as intense as direct stimulation from a wand/probe. I like the wand for more intense sensations, but especially because my wife can use it on me.

You may want to consider something like the Love Pacifier Beginner. It is a pacifier style plug similar to the Pure Plug but a lot cheaper and easier to use for a beginner since it is made of silicone.

For a wand/probe style toy, the Tantus G-force is a good choice.

We don't have the pfun, but the boy is in lust with the pure wand. He says the pure plugs feel nice but don't hit his prostate well enough no matter how we adjust it.

After doing a bit of my own research I'm starting to lean toward the Pure Wand for its maneuverability and versatility.
No one ever said I wasn't ambitious. I may even end up getting the others a bit later, but for now I think that the Pure Wand is the right choice.

I am sure I speak for everyone here, "We are glad to help!"

Allow me to say that, while the Pfun Plug is definitely made for prostate stimulation, the Pure Plugs do provide some degree of prostate stimulation and they can be worn for extended periods of time without any issues. I love my Pure Plug Large. I would like to try the Pfun Plug someday, however.

Since you've already chosen the Pure Wand, I'd like to say... Good choice! It's quite versatile and powerful, and though it can have a learning curve, it's well worth taking the time to learn. Remember to take it slowly and gently, and don't underestimate the power of the smaller end.

In any case, enjoy your purchase!

I think the Pfun has a better overall curve and shape

I still love the wand, but as far as the plugs I've changed my mind and now I'd go for the Pure Plugs. They just have a great overall shape and a nice thin comfortable neck.
