I haven't quite thought this thoroughly through (say that 3x fast!), but I was reading some reviews and I am curious as to whether a plug would work well as a vaginal exercisor. They could be heavier, therefore making it more effective, and they are made to stay in for extended periods of time anyways, right?

What do you all think? What are the pros and cons to this idea?

I think it could work, depending on the plug. You'd definitely want something shaped comfortably for wear and heavy enough to challenge the muscles. Most plugs do have a flared base though, and depending on just HOW flared it is, it might not be comfortable to walk/sit/function in. But the toys that have a small base (the ones I personally don't think are super safe for anal) might work because things really can't disappear into a vagina like they can into an ass - there's not as much of a safety risk.

The base would make me nervous for anal, but it would probably be comfortable in a vagina. I personally would be ok with the glass, but I don't know if everyone would be comfortable with it long term?

Anything you squeeze around to hold it in will exercise your kegels - even nothing.

You can, but you don't really need anything to do Kegels. It might be that having a toy and routine would help you to do them more regularly, but the style of toy wouldn't really matter - except that tapered toys with a bulge very close to the vaginal entrance might be squeezed out instead of squeezed in.

Lol thanks for that information!

Really though, like ScottA says, having them in reminds me to do mine more and I like having a routine. Sooo... since there are only a few different kinds of actual kegel items here on Eden, I think I will test out the different anal things and see how it goes.
